"Just to update, I received a call from Laine, the franchise owner of Lone Spur, and what a gem of a human Laine went through considerable effort to find my details in that Laine checked what number I had used for my loyalty points (which was my daughters card) got her number, called her, explained the situation to her, asked for my number and then called me a few times before getting hold of me. For that alone, I appreciate you, Laine. Throughout the call, Laine listened to my grievances and sincerely apologized for the behavior of her staff and, although I am not from the area, did offer a courtesy meal. So lesson learnt : we expect Spur to be 'Like Family ' and as such I was happy my concerns were noted and more so, appreciate that effort will be made so this doesn 't happen again. Thank you Laine How absolutely dissapointing !!! My family and I always visit the local Spur restaurant when travelling. So, on a business trip, my colleague and I agreed on dinner at Lone Spur Steak Ranch in Brentwood. While the food was ok (the steaks were slightly cold when they arrived) but the waitrons, and I mean ALL of them, were absolutely pathetic. Our waitress disappeared for 40min and in that time every waitron on duty walked passed us, noted our empty glasses and set aside plates and yet not one of them offered us any service !!! Suffice to say we will not be back. Very dissapointed."

"My first time eating at this Spur and I have to say the food was amazing. My first time trying out their grilled peri chicken combo for R149 and I was awesome. Food was served lovely a day hot, excellent service from the manager Jane and waiter Nhlanhla. Shared the waffle, and it was crispy the way I like it. Perfect place to be in during loadshedding"

"Thundergun Steakhouse has such good food! They have so many good things on the menu and the place has a vibrant atmosphere! I tried their ribs, which were basted in a delicious BBQ sauce, and their onion rings are very good too. They have a kiddies’ area for tired parents who just want a nice meal and service is pretty good. Definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner!"

"Wimpy just never fails to amaze, but this Wimpy probably has the best service of all the Wimpys I know. Wellington was super friendly and quick and my food was out in no time. Loved the double double special burger! I got smiles from Wellington, my waiter, and the manager came to ask me if I was happy. What more could you ask for?"

"What a great hidden gem!<br/ <br/ I found this place on Zomato and gave it a try with some friends for breakfast. It's a quaint, cozy little joint with wonderful, friendly staff. <br/ <br/ Their coffees and hot chocolates are delicious as is their food. Perfect place to have a relaxed breakfast/lunch. <br/ <br/ I love the warm and positive vibe at this place."

"Pleasantly surprised by the pizza at this little cafe, always experience feelings of trepidation when having pizza at a restaurant that does not specialise in it. Had a margarita with extra caramelised onion and peppadews and it was really good!"
