"Poor customer service and questionable sanitation practices. An employee who wearing glasses and a tie-dye shirt was coughing violently in the kitchen without covering her mouth or wearing a mask. She also decided it was important to get a blessing withholy water from her priest in front of a long line of customers who weren?t being helped. She and the priest then proceeded tohave a long, personal conversation at the cash register while people waited for some help. Two other customers asked for arefund after watching this woman violently cough near their food in the kitchen. Not sure if the restaurant agreed, but itcreated conflict and the customers were visibly upset. When they suggested she wear a mask if she was sick, she said ?I can?twear masks? and then asked the priest for holy water. ?also my food was 15 minutes delayed past the order confirmationtime. Very bizarre experience. Probably will not return."

"The nigella seed and burnt onion hummus was so tasty! As were the other dishes, however the hummus stood out the most. Also the zhug sauce was great, as the spice help cut through the oiliness of the eggplant moussaka. Only thing that wasn’t quite my taste was the pita bread, as I like mine a bit more charred on the outside. Overall service and atmosphere was great. It gets full very quickly so do plan ahead or go early as they don’t take reservations. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Eggplant Moussaka, Tahini Ice Cream Sundae Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes"

"Cute atmosphere but as my first time here I got a strawberry milk tea that I’ve had other places and know I like . I tried it at this place at it was disgusting, more sour than anything and tangy than sweet with a strawberry flavor.I stated i didn’t like it and kindly asked if i could have something else since it’s already been paid for to be told no you cannot unless you pay for another drink and we don’t do refundsI asked what kind of policy is that to be asked “what’s a policy?” Clearly something this store does not have . And was then antagonized by her saying “someone’s not happy today”"

"History of Tommy's First Location: Soon after Tommy’s opened as a small soda fountain in 1972, Rolling stone magazine voted it “Best Milkshake East of the Mississippi.” This is a photo of the restaurant’s first location on the corner of Coventry and Euclid Heights Boulevard. It began with 7 seats and eventually expanded to 27. Second Location: In April 1978, Tommy’s moved to 1820 Coventry Road. Here the restaurant was L-shaped, with seating on the 1st floor and on a balcony with a total of 77 seats. This remained the home of Tommy’s until November 1988 when a fire destroyed half a block of Coventry, including Tommy’s dining room. Third Location: After the fire in November 1988 wiped out the dining room, the restaurant continued to use the kitchen but moved the dining room to 1824 Coventry Road, which housed Coventry Cats and High Tide Rock Bottom. Despite this transition, Tommy’s maintained a 70-seat capacity. Current Location: The current site of Tommy’s celebrated its grand opening in May of 1993. It seats 125 people."
