"We stopped by on a rainy day and I stuck my head around the door to enquire if dogs were allowed inside. The lady who greeted me immediately smiled and said, 'we love dogs! '. My wife 's cream tea was delicious and my daughter wolfed down her burger and fries. I ordered the large full english breakfast and it is a very generous portion and really filling! The decor is very funky and quirky and they were playing Planet Rock gently in the background which was an added bonus. Don 't let this put you off at all as it is subtle and includes some absolute classics while you slurping on a smoothie or chewing on your chips. They also cater for different dietary requirements and the food is reasonably priced too."

"My husband and myself went for lunch and we were greeted warmly by Sheena. We chose several dishes from the sharers/starters menu. We had salt and pepper fries, tempura prawns, garlic mushrooms and spicy chicken wings. Izaak cooked everything to perfection and we will definitely return. If you want a warm welcome and good food, then try the Sawles Arms"

"I'm almost reluctant to write this as I worry the place will be so busy if word gets out that I'll find it hard to get a look in... Having tried many in the area, this has become our go to fish and chip shop in Falmouth. It's the best tasting by far and always fresh. Delivered to our hard to find flat by the redoutable Steve our xl cod were hot and tasty roll on Wednesday for the next opening : I'm sad they no longer offer onion rings on the delivery menu and pea fritters would be a great addition along with offering batter scraps for us afficionados of their joyous batter"

"My wife I were visiting Looe on a sunny weekday, and we took the opportunity to have our first taste of a Cornish pasty (heard about them for years, but this was our first chance to try them . Fresh pasties were being prepared by several young members of Sarah's staff when we entered the tiny shop on busy Buller Street in East Looe (maybe a training day? . The very friendly lady at the counter suggested as first timers that we try the traditional style pasty (potato, swede, onion and Cornish skirt ; we ordered two without considering the volume of the product splitting one pasty would have been enough to satisfy us both. We sat on the East Looe Quay thoroughly enjoyed our freshly made Cornish treats. We would definitely return to Sarah's Pasty Shop, and we recommend you save room for one of their pasty varieties the next time you are in or near Looe."

"This is the third chippy we’ve tried, always on the lookout whilst on holiday in Porthtowan. It’s a little expensive but the best fish and chips I’ve had in the area so worth the money. Handmade cod fish cake was the best my partner had...ever eaten. Chips were fresh and the battered fish was delicious. Glad to see good routine in place during Covid, you order at the door, are given a beeper and you wait in their car park next door until your order is ready. I watched the lady clean the beeper before giving it to me ... I was impressed and the shop in general looked very clean and well run with friendly staff. There was also a queue when I arrived around which I thought was a good sign. This place is great and if you’re looking for a decent chippy and don’t mind paying a couple of quid more then look no further, this place is the real deal."
