"We found this little gem almost by accident. It's not far from the shopping stores in Freeport. The view is just what you expect at a Maine Coast harbor joint. They had some indoor seating and lots of tables under covered porches. The food came fast and hot and did not disappoint! Yes prices are higher this summer but this place was reasonable. We shared the fried seafood basket. There was so much seafood! The scallops were amazing. Shrimp, clams and haddock all yummy. We didn't eat any fries, but there were plenty. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy good. But, the best part was the bowl of seafood chowder we had. It was excellent and full of lobster scallops and fish. Worth the visit just for that. Many reviews were not that kind but we would go back for sure!!!"

"The Nautilus Cafe is our favorite restaurant. We go there for every special occasion to enjoy the excellent seafood, cocktails and views. The staff is warm and welcoming and the room is one of the few restaurants where you can actually have a conversation. The halibut with lobster sauce is fabulous, as well as all their soups and salads. We recommend it very much!"

"Jeremy's ale House is a wonderful place to eat and it's very affordable the food is delicious and their drinks are made very well I always go to Jeremy's and it's good all year round not just the summertime great seafood and they added lobster tails as well awesome way to go Jeremy's"

"The fried chicken is delicious! It's so much better than the other chicken places (KFC, Popeyes, Kennedy Fried Chicken). The mozerella sticks and onion rings are yummy as well. They also sell halal style chicken/lamb and rice. I'm not sure if it's halal though."
