"Genuinely THE best beef burger I've eaten in the south-east in the last 20 years. Incredibly tender and well seasoned, the beef flavor really comes through beautifully. Great use of pickled red onion, adequately dressed and well presented. 9.9/10. Would give the last 0.1 if there was just a little something to add a slight texture change or add a little crunch. Had the 16oz cowboy on previous visits. Perfect medium rare every time, incredibly tender, well seasoned and great use of aromatics. Recommend served with garlic butter."

"We love this place absolutely Gawjuss wish we lived closer. Bacalhau croquettes Chicken Piri Piri salad chips and of course Portuguese vinho and we got a takeaway to eat later that night. Lovely atmosphere very relaxed, staff are brilliant my favorite place to eat.."

"3 nights back in the fairytale hotel was amazing, staff so friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and the hotel history lection on the back of the menu was a nice note. if I'm ever back in the world and near the opposite, then I'll definitely book here again.
