"People, if you want to advertise hand cutting chips, then you need to serve them (and not frozen) because it is the culinary experience. overall it was a bad day in the office' after sitting it took one to get the menus, then my order was wrong, we had to ask for salt and vinegar, the wee had no bottle of chiller jacket and to cover everything we were overloaded (resolved). it is not my first time here and as a resident of lagos I will come back sometime because the fish is fab, but they must get the detail right!"

"We had the most amazing dinner at Rockfood! My boyfriend and I split the weekly special, which was grilled prawns with red pepper and onion, saffron rice, and salad. It was amazing! We were so thrilled that we ordered the pasta made with clams and prawns as well. This was equally as delicious! Their mojitos and Sex On The Beaches are also so good that one could easily drink a pitcher of each! We finished our meal with their blueberry cake and lemon sorbet desert, which was phenomenal as well! The staff was very friendly and had a great playlist going! Highly recommend Rockfood!"

"Fabulous food and service in relaxed location in old town . Located within the old city walls but on the edge of the busy centre. The best in town if you are looking for quality local food beautifully prepared and served . Perfect for couples and groups. The location is up a hill from the centre with interesting old town building and streets. Start from the Henry the Navigator statue heading in and bearing left up the hill. The menu has meat ,pasta and fish. They give you thoughtful toast olives pate and sardines while they prepare your food. Start with the fish soup for 5 euro! The local rose wine was quality. We had steak and fish sole. Top quality , hot with sauces. Perfect steak. Decorated plates. The deserts are freshly made. Tirimusu , rose jelly. The kitchen is open. The service is discrete and friendly. Don’t expect burgers!! The price was good for the quality of ingredients and fresh preparation. The whole experience was so good that we have booked again for our last night!"
