"This restaurant is located in Downtown Lexington, KY Hilton Hotel. It was lunch at Christmas morning and we traveled from another Hilton property that does not offer food service due to the holiday. Our server was excellent and thanks to the restaurant for the opening on holiday."

"Went in just for some breakfast, got biscuits and gravy, milk, and a side of bacon. The food was okay, not amazing but not terrible either. I went to go order just a Nutella milkshake and the person taking my order said he can't do milkshakes right now, he's the only person in. I'd understand if it's a big meal or something, but a milkshake? Id rather go to cookout down the street for a better experience and a cheaper meal."

"Not good enough to become a regular.... Had the Cajun Chicken Pasta. Was hoping for layers of good Cajun spices but instead had a mild heat with not much flavor. Chicken was ample enough but by itself was dry and tasteless and probably precooked and refrigerated earlier in the day.<br/ <br/ French onion soup was okay but a little over done with maybe oregano. Bourbon sliced pork sandwich was good.<br/ <br/ Server was attentive but neglected to say there was a $2 up charge for substituting french onion soup for the fries."

"I had lunch here today for the first time and it was the best lunch I have had in a long time! The food was amazing! Everything was flavorful and they give you so much food for your money. The staff is very friendly with excellent customer service. I will definitely go back and I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Yum!!!"

"'ORANGE ' SAYS YOU ALL HAVE GOOD FOOD!. After reading a few reviews, I decided to try Thoroughbred 's. I agree that it is nothing to write home about from the outside and the interior is dated, but the food is the diamond in the rough.<br/ <br/ My first visit was on a Friday (fried chicken day) and I ordered the fried chicken because I don 't get to eat it much. I 'd say it is the best besides my Mother 's. The breast is huge and the breading is spiced excellently. The griddle cakes are pretty dang good.<br/ <br/ The ladies give me a hard time because every time I 've eaten lunch I 've had UT orange on...but it 's all in fun (at least I hope). Regardless, the meat and two for around $7.00 is great deal!"
