"From outside, SASHIMI is what you would expect from any sushi house in the stripe mall. A forgotten name, a cheerful logo and the square shots of a nail salon, but on the inside, SASHIMI can be the happiest place on earth (ok ok... the 2nd happiest on earth ...better? If you go in, even the girls welcome you. I assume that they are regular, that “the tongue-n-cheek approach of the very enthusiastic greeting given by the hostess and sushi cuisine. Why also the ceiling look like Space Mountain with the black color and glittering glitter. Then there are the polaroids, hundreds of smiling faces of past guests decorating the wall. When you start reading the captions, how many birthdays and anniversary are celebrated here, you must believe that this tiny place of Vons is special. I was here a handful of time and SASHIMI was on my list for the freshest fish in the city. I often wonder if they had a special Purveyor that other sushi restaurants were not aware. My favorite role is on her boss Specialty Menu, the Tuna Takaki. Your topping of cilantro onion along with a side of ponzu sauce makes this role delicately spicy. When SASHIMI first opened a few years back, the spicy tuna rolls were more interactive, as the spicy Mayo concoction was left outside the roll and you had to immerse each cut on your wish. Today, the common tap sauce was instead mixed with the tuna. Boring. I'm not a fan of Philly roles on other sushi gestures just because most times I recognize a smoky aftertaste, but here I give them again cudos for the clean fresh taste of their salmon. If you even come for a togo order, they will serve you water and warm endaname. Good times... good times"

"Order online, picked, sandwich tasty! (Child of hard for subway sandwiches) staff friendly, fast easy, in and out in literally 20 seconds. Sandwich made right, good taste. Previously, to go back here 20 years ago! So they have to do something right! (Subway is on the bottom of my sandwich list, but they still have the best prices, especially with vouchers and discounts! You can also use pepperoni on a foot for $1 more. Tired of all sandwich sites are $16 for a big!!! I can get two from the subway and with buy one get one free, both for $10!!! The best are Jersey Mike's, Togo's, what, firefighter subs. Thanks for the great service, stop it! - I can suggest Turkey and Ham, Ad-Pefferoni, vegetables extra onion olive oil vinegar salt pepper pepper pepper and parmesan cheese."

"A family of 4 could have a nice and filling food for under $30. Steak Sandwich is very good. The frits were cooked well. Great Charbroiled Cheeseburger, generous serving of chicken strips. Love the TK sauce."

"The soft portion here is incredible. I had a mixed ice cream. My friend had the strawberry cheesecake premium shake. What a good way to shake off a hot sticky so-cold Thursday. I love the service here. Many young people work hard and serve with a smile. Had all the food delivered to my truck by car side service. Ice makes me happy!"

"Our son chose this spot for his birthday dinner. Ummmm . . . check (yourself BLK) please. Your veggie burger was inedible slop, the tuna stackers sat uneaten, your $12 beers and 30 GLASSES of wine cannot justify a cute outdoor environment. Service was awkward, and after effective communication they still didn?t take the bad burger off the check! And no birthday ? dessert ?? In Ladera, if you have a good spot it?s packed. I should have known when we rolled up on a Friday night at 7 with no reservation and it was completely empty. Gréât opportunity for the next owners! I give them six months tops."
