Time to celebrate with meat, seafood, and unlimited beer, because there's always a reason to be merry. Executive Chef Martin Bower of Crimson Hotel Alabang fires up the grill by the pool with the the freshest seafood on the market and hefty meats marinated for no less than 24 hours. It's easy to say, I'll just grill my own at home for less, but you'll be missing out on the cool breeze, the live music, and the plush seats perfect for a good night under the stars. <br>

So what's grilling at the Deck Bar? During our visit we were delighted with BBQ Chicken, Beef Medallion, Pork and Herb Sausages, Pork Tocino, Mussels, and piles of Spiny "rock" Lobsters. On the side they offered buttered corn cobs, baked potatoes, fluffy plain rice, and the outstanding salad bar with a pre-made selection, which include artichoke salad, potato salad, and beetroot salad or you can opt to make your own, but with a solid line-up why bother, the kitchen team has done a fine job on the salads.<br>

Last, but not the least is the dessert bar with chocolatey goodies to sweeten the deal further. Mini cakes and martini glasses filled with chocolate, what's not to like. It's a simple end to a carnivorous meal. <br>

The Weekend BBQ Buffet at the Deck Bar may not offer as much options as many hotel buffets try to impress, but the inclusion of free-flowing beer does present a great value to those who enjoy drinking beer and grilled meat. The quality of the spread is of high caliber, the lobsters are in my opinion are enough for me to recommend this buffet. <br>

"Very fresh and tasty popcorn. I recommend her white cheddar or bbq, but my favorite is the gimme 5 the 5 aromen in the pocket. I like that they have 2 aromen also on the regular size popcorn can have their servier system is in order, but can be quite hectic about 15 minutes before showing time, so I suggest to buy earlier."

"I love the convenience of the packed snack combos that they sell right outside their Pergola branch. A serving of Jabchae, 2 pieces of Teng (Korean meatballs) and 3 pieces of Kimmari (deep-fired seaweed rolls) make-up 1 combo. Another snack combo has Kimbab instead of the Teng. It's convenience isn't all that is Jin's Kimbab has going for it. The different components on the snack combos are all made on the same day so you are guaranteed that each piece of Teng, Kimbab, and Kimmari is as fresh as it can get. They even offer to heat it up for you if you plan to have dine-in!"

"Got lucky to have a parking spot at Pergola Mall last Sunday. Dropped by for a not so heavy lunch here and though the location of their small store was a liitle hidden; we had to try to eat somewhere new. So, we got chicken croquettes for appetizer and taco pizza as well as Carbonara for the main dishes. The chicken croquettes were good but lacked cheese specifically mozarella. The Taco Pizza was too dry and bland. It's literally just crunchy dough with a small amount of ground beef, some lettuce, a lot of grated cheese, and some tomatoes. "I have been here countless times, and probably the main reason why I go back is because of the resto's ability to serve really spicy & authentic Thai food at very affordable prices.<br>

And guess what? The owner is not actually Thai but Korean. ? There was one instance wherein he gave us free gimbap rolls after our family of more than 10 had dinner. And during a more recent visit, Khua Thai gave complimentary, unlimited refills of iced tea! Yay!<br>

Anyway, some of my favorites dishes are the following:<br>

* KHANNOM JIN GANG FUJ - This is mushroom, basil, red bell pepper, onion & noodles swimming in really spicy green curry sauce! After you've tried this, you wouldn't go back to the same ol' boring Pad Thai. ?<br>

* PAD THAO-HUE - tofu, mushroom & looooads of garlic... A perfect combination that makes this a staple order whenever we are at this resto in Festival Mall.<br>
