"Wow! Amazing again! We have used this take away a couple of times and it's consistently brilliant! Absolutely delicious steaming hot food, so flavoursome and tastes amazing!!!! Would definitely recommend and will be going there again!!!!!"

"I visited xoxo with a colleague of mine for lunch. We each had a sandwich and choose the items we wanted in it. It was really nice and I enjoyed all the little trinkets and jewellery that you can look at while your waiting. We bought some cupcakes to take away and they were packaged in beautiful boxes and bags. I joined their page on Facebook and saw that they had half price cakes on the Saturday so I took my two children there around 11am for tea and cakes. My 12 year old daughter loved the shop and bought a little bracelet. My 13 year old Son was not too pleased to be there (as it is very girly! until he saw the size of his Oreo cake, it was huge!! I had a slice of cheesecake which I could not finish and we ended up taking most of the cakes home in goody bags."

"Almost One star off because my beer was not super cold. Lovely Sunday Roast! Great service, awesome staff. Food was delectable although the portions are massive. Definitely have kids ages 5-9 share a kid’s portion over 2 plates cause it’s massive. And if you’re not a gluten, don’t over order on the extras BUT do order the Cauliflower Cheese. It’s amazing!!!!! A 30min walk down to the magical and mysterious Abbey’s Pool afterwards to help digestion is highly recommended!!"

"Not busy? The barman and the landlord say its an hour for food because there 's only one chef. That 's unacceptable at this time of year. (I later added: You can see from the reply below that the landlord got very agitated at my review above driven both by being hungry and only finding out about the kitchen delay after we 'd ordered drinks meaning we had no real choice but to wait. The food was excellent as it was last time. The barman and the serving lad were delightfully polite and helpful. And it actually arrived in far less time than the hour I was quoted on ordering. I guess it was just bad luck that I was hangry and that out of the two times we 've ever been to this location, there was a huge delay for food. Jumping the gun and writing a review before I 'd even been served was clearly irrational of me, especially only to be confronted at the bar with it by the landlord 20 mins later, that was an interesting part of my visit today. Lovely views of the channel and the pier."

"Wouldn’t bother, trying to charge for lunch with items missing, when pointed out they re jigged the receipt and took off £1.50 three meals were missing items. Sausages advertised as Cumberland were standard cheap ones and coleslaw per meal came out as one small pot between 3!!!!!"

"We have been customers of pappadoms for ever and I have always been meaning to write a review, as we are always so happy with our eating and service. there is always a lot of really tasty eating and extra pops as standard. they send every year a Christmas card and the last night eating (as always, beautiful) came with a gift packed box of chocolate in the bag. what a nice way to treat their customers, it really did our evening, thank you"
