"Nice old tavern down town. has your typical pub menu and great value for what you get. very friendly young lady was our waitress and she was observant, professional. try the wings, very well done and the fish and chips were great as well. nothing fancy but not as bad place to go"

"Just had a wonderful meal at Barley Vine. Duck fat fries were so delicious, fresh, fresh, fresh! I had the Steak Frites and I could cut my steak with my fork. My husband had the Seared Cod with sausage, delicious! Our friends had the house specialty, Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, finger licking good! Service was pleasant. You might have to wait 5 minutes longer for your pub fare, but everything is homemade fresh so it's worth it!"

"We flew through the drive-thru after the films with my two grandchildren and the two men who work on this evening will be stressed, as the people there are losing respect. When I came through, I came through with a smile, and the gentleman actually took the time to thank me for a refreshing talk, as it was a stressful evening for her. I have to say with everything we have all been through with kovid, I have noticed that the patients of people were not the best among people in the food industry. these two young men we do best. I could say they needed a smile. for anyone who reads this review, be kind to their servers. it is not her fault if the dinge move slowly or her order did not have the ketchup, because mistakes happen and do not have to be rude to her server. a simple please and thank you for sure I would go a long way for her. life is too short to be rude. eating is always amazing at wendy’s. I cannot stress the value of the quality, please be kind to each other."

"My wife and I received a gift card that we wanted to use between Christmas and Newyears. We decided to go to our usual spot in Orangeville. I understand the chain has been sold to Foodtastic which might be the reason for the decline in quality. The last visit a month or so ago we returned a spinach dip that was horrible and change it to calamari. This visit the Calamari was in the deep fryer way too long as it was close to being burned and hard. Our meals were mediocre my wife had the Cajun salmon bowl and I had the new mushroom burger. The salmon portion was quite small and on the edges burned and the fries that came with the burger were hard as rock. I was too polite to tell them the food was not good but am writing this review. After being home for 20 minutes I am in one bathroom and my wife is in another. Oh well live and learn. I will not be going back to this restaurant and definitely do not recommend it to anyone."

"Just happened upon this place and saw the sign that said best fish and chip so we tried it out. Greeted by a gentleman with a welcoming smile. We got the daily special of cod and chips with a side of gravy. It was fantastic! Fish portion was good. Fish quality was great. Fish batter was the best Light layer with the perfect amount of crisp. Fries were ample and the gravy was fantastic. Will definitely go again."

"The Mill Creek pub is a nice quiet place to eat (upstairs that is), the pub part is on the first floor. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Food is really good. I had Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings and Fries, my favourite, ha.ha. My son had 'trout' on a pile of rice with veggies he said it was good. Daughter In Law had a Deluxe Burger and Salad, she said it was awesome! My husband had the Jambalaya....he said it was good. :) Grandaughter had Grilled Cheese and Broccoli. No complaints at all."
