"Lovely friendly greetings on arrival to a clean fresh pub with good seating . The bar staff engaging and I noticed that one member of staff she was on a day off but still helped customers. I just wanted a cheese and tomato baguette which was not on the menu but they were happy to assist. My Husband had the brie and bacon baguette both on fresh tasty bread with fresh salad and lovely dressing. They were obviously freshly made and delicious. This pub is well worth a visit and hands down beats the expensive offering in the historical docks right next door. We would definitely recommend visiting. Thank you to the lovely staff for very enjoyable lunch"

"A hidden gem in Portsmouth Having recently moved into the area, was on the look out for a place that served good food, drinks and atmosphere. Been to Kassia Drayton a couple times; with friends and with the other half. Would highly recommend for any type of night out. The food was reasonably priced, really flavoursome, filling and authentic; I liked the fact it has traditional dishes as well as tapas style so that you have options to try something new. When served, particularly the tapas, the staff would talk you through the different types of food that was laid out. The table spacing was great with booths to accommodate larger parties or smaller seating for a more intimate atmosphere. We went on a night where there was live music (a dj set) and I liked the small touch of music requests giving everyone a chance to have their favourite songs played. Being a Saturday night the atmosphere was lively but not hectic, just a general sense of people enjoying themselves. Plenty of seating and standing areas. The layout has clearly been well thought out. Perfect lighting and music volume. Management and staff were extremely tentative, polite and understanding of all clientele, service was very smooth. The cocktails were well made and there was a good choice of wine. I will definitely be coming back, bringing friends when they visit or just me and my partner when we want a date night. Highly recommend as a place for food, drinks and atmosphere. To start in or to end in. Will most definitely be returning"

"The family and I visited here for a curry after the parents recommendation. The staff are very friendly and attentive, with a good sense of humour. The restaurant itself is decorated in a modern fashion. Our order took around 20 minutes to be served. All of the food was well prepared and very tasty. All of the meats were well cooked and most importantly very tender. I feel you can always tell a good curry house by the tenderness of their meat; no puns what so ever! Would recommend eating here if you like curry and are in the area. It's one of the best in Albert Road in my opinion."

"I am not a huge fan of take away food as I am a dedicated and passionate home cook. But I always use Spice fusion in my times of desperation and every time I have used them, the speed of delivery has been excellent and the range of choice from vegetable dishes to hearty meat dishes has been great and to top it all its fantastic and value for money."
