"A very clean and modern style dinner. Less like a cafe and more of home style cooking. If you have ever been to a family restaurant it would be similar to one of them. Our waitress was super kind and friendly. The cafe itself was super busy and able to get food out quick."

"Ok I'm a bit reluctant to give this review as this place is a real gem. I'll tell you and then I'll have at deal with extra competition. It's hard to say what's best the food of the crazy lovable staff. They were so happy and really knew how to serve you. I had a tenderloin sandwich and it was so tender and cooked to perfection. Was the best I've ever had and for 11 bucks? My wife had the walleye and they pan fried it to her liking. My next trip Ill go to the Prohibition Bistro for Founder's Porter on tap and then swing by here for dinner. Thanks for a fun evening!"

"We had a good meal today! sarah was a good server. she kept checking and always made sure we had everything we needed. I forgot to make a photo of my food, but I had the kebabs and they were great! next to the cool drink of kenny. we are going back again and again!"

"Treat my mother to parkers and it was a good experience! The building is pretty neat inside and out, clean and easy to move around in! Service was good to, quick, pleasant to talk to and got our food out as quickly as we ordered it. The food was great! Chili was pretty good, the tray of brisket, tater tots, corn bread,, and wings were all scrumptious especially the brisket! My only complaints are holy cow that Bill and...the custom sauces were a little blah and tasteless. Those complaints aside Parker John's is a good bbq place that I'd recommend! Pictures are of inside and out of the building, menus and food!"

"This place is just wonderful. It's very much a family hole-in-the-wall old fashioned place; if you're looking for something fancy go somewhere else. But the food is just so amazingly good. They have wonderful soup and the Friday night fish fry is fantastic. I got fresh perch with shrimp in December and the perch was as good as if I just caught it. And they make their own sauces. Definitely worth the trip."

"Table for two, seated within 10 minutes. Placed order. Server comes back to inform us that they were out of broasted chicken (not even 6pm), so husband ordered something else. After about 30 minutes, flagged down server to clarify that we wanted appetizer before our meals. Server then informs us that kitchen is running behind. Appetizer arrived about 10 minutes later. Server stopped shortly after we finished the appetizer, to tell us our food should be out shortly. We told her to box it up. Over an hour to get our meals, and when we get home, mine was wrong. Half order of Nachos Supreme, was supposed to have plain tortilla chips, got flavored Doritos, and the nacho cheese was cheddar, that congealed into one blob. This is not our first poor experience. It will be our last. We should have been informed of the wait before we were seated."

"Fabulous view of the river! Felt like we had our own private table in front of a window. Service was excellent and very professional. I loved the lentil soup and the grilled salmon salad, both were delicious! My son liked his flaming bourbon steak. My son in-law thought the seafood pasta tasted like tuna helper. But other than that, we had a terrific experience and would go back again."
