"What a disappointment, we drove passed and decided to sit and dine, from the beginning the service was shocking, no drink orders taken for 15 minutes and 20 minutes before any food order was taken, after asking 3 times, was strange as there were only 3 tables that were taken at the time, even the young gentleman who kept passing up and down in between tables, his communication was terrible, all the chicken tikka starter was rubbery and cold and had to be sent back and the mains lacked flavour and were warm, like that had been sitting on the side for some time, it says it all when the best part of the meal was the garlic naan even that was bang average we decided to inform the “manager/owner” of the unpleasant meal and he just laughed it off and said there were very busy!"

"The food is ok...just that its ok but bland, the service is frosty at best and on the two occasions I have visited I have had the distinct feeling that customers are viewed as an inconvenience and that the owner is mildly irritated by them. I really wanted to like this cafe but from now on will pop around the corner to the lovely cafe 24 where I am always greeted like an old friend"

"Had a decent enough meal (fish and chips) at a decent enough price, but oh my goodness, I think the fact that there is supposed to be any social distancing and other measures to help prevent the spread of Covid 19 has completely passed them by!! There was a nod to track and trace a book to fill in, but no one checking if you had noticed the book let alone filled it in. There was a perspex screen at the bar, but the staff constantly going around it to make talking to customers easier. There were pots of hand gel, but saw no staff use them. No face coverings worn by any staff. No cleaning of items (like salt and pepper pots) in between people using them. The staff were hugging each other and customers constantly and there was hardly any space between tables or people generally.Staff generally polite, but running around like aimless headless chickens would be an apt description."

"Staying near Romney we had booked the Curry Lounge. Looked great from the outside. Once in, just as good. Had great service. Most importantly the food was fantastic. Not greasy or oily. We had the chicken Goan as well as a prawn dish with rice and sundries. All very, very nice. Many thanks."

"I decided to visit this takeaway whilst on holiday am so pleased that I did, I ordered a king prawn curry with egg fried rice from the friendly lady at the counter, I had my credit card in my hand to pay as that's what most places prefer you to use these days, but was told cash only paid via a jug that you put the money in are given your change in the same way, they are seriously following Covid 19 guidelines. I took a seat taking in all those lovely aromas in the air, and in no time at all my meal was brought out to me from a very friendly looking man, when I got back to my accommodation after a short drive, the meal was absolutely delicious, the rice was light airy, the curry sauce was so thick unlike most places these days where many resemble water with no real flavour, plus the amount of prawns was astounding as I normally get 4 or 5 the rest is alive with onion, but not this one as I must of had 9 or even 10 of them all full of flavour, with only 2 small pieces of onion, an unbelievably tasty meal for the price paid only wish it were my local Chinese takeaway, the local people are SO lucky that live nearby, thank you so much!!"
