"Three of us and our labrador visited on Christmas Eve for lunch and had the most wonderful time. Staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Two of us have some allergies (including gluten, dairy, egg and onion), but care was taken and attention was paid to make sure that everybody could enjoy as much of the menu as possible. The three of us had roasts, one turkey, one beef and one lamb. Each came with extremely generous helpings of perfectly cooked meat and veg, and a range of accompaniments that were paired to each dish, as opposed to being one-size-fits-all. Desserts were equally generously portioned and of the same high quality. We were sad not to be able to return before the end of our trip, but we'll certainly be back when we're in the area!"

"Visited after the day at a local theme park, found parking a challenge and ended up on some weird gravel area up a slope that seems to have been adopted as extra parking. Food was as we expected, usual standard we thought. Good to have a little play area squeezed outside."

"I was given a voucher as a birthday present which was a great idea. It is very tastefully decorated and made me feel relaxed and pampered. The little gift shop in the foyer sold useful things eg socks and tasteful Christmas decorations. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The toilets were clean well stocked and smelt lovely. They even had hand cream. The afternoon tea was huge and consisted of 4 different types of delicious sandwich one of which the staff happily changed when we said we didn't eat fish,and 4 different cakes then a scone. The only thing I would change is that the scone was too big as we ate that after the sandwiches and were too full up to eat all the cakes. However we were given boxes to take the remainder away in so could prolong our enjoyment at home. We came from Salisbury for this experience and if I had realised the barn was in the middle of the countryside I would have brought some walking boots and gone for a walk in the nearby woods. I enjoyed it here and will return."

"We bought mom membership for her birthday and booked the Garden Restaurant Lunch Menu for 2, we had such a memorable time, EVERY member of staff took the time to come over and wish her happy birthday, we had the seafood linguine and minted lamb and they were both mouth-wateringly tasty, representing good value for money. Whilst I only took photos of the deserts I would throughly recommend, and know the annual pass won’t be the only reason. Thank you all for a lovely afternoon …. Misc. Sadly you cannot leave a tip on credit card which is a shame as we would have left more than the cash we had available"

"Like this small department store the staff are very helpful and friendly. My issue is with the hairdressers attached upstairs. I had my hair cut and coloured a while back it cost £95.00. My grey roots were dyed and within a week after 1 wash there was a ginger halo instead of a brown root. I rang them they advised to send photo evidence via email which I did as I had left the area and it was too far away to return. I never had a response ,tried ringing could not get through so gave up. This was an incorrect colouring and I wanted a refund."
