"The chefs at logan brown must differ from those who have worked at the last reviews, as they no longer have vegan possibilities to visit. it seemed a stretch for them to make the $100 tasting menu vegan, so we have for just one appetit and a pornstar. the appetit was just sparing and the main was a bland risotto. please don’t waste their money here if they want good vegan food! they had said that the only vegan dessert was sorbet (very boring, but then made a vegan donut dessert to make for the meals. at $40 per pornstar, it didn't do much good. try them somewhere else on the road for a satisfying vegan experience"

"It was really delicious and a real touch to have Naan breads that were vegan friendly. The curry was delicious, we had a dhaal and an Aloo Ghobi, as well as Samosa, Bhaji, rice and garlic naan. I forgot to take photos because I consumed it very quickly. Only disadvantage was that they brought a non- vegan bath with the vegan order, and then said: "It comes with this bath, but it is not vegan, so I think you don't want it." "There are a massive amount of food choices here but the best thing is that the market is humming. Live music, happy people, busy stall holders etc all make for a cool and buzzy vibe. We came for half an hour and spent two and a half hours here. The market is undercover so the rain didn't matter My food highlight was the vegan fish and chips which were divine."

Max, the head chef, is a creative master in the kitchen and he and his staff always surprise with new and inventive offerings. Hillside has an a la carte lunch and dinner menu, but the<br/ 5 course and 7 course dinner degustation experiences are what make Hillside amazing. These luscious celebrations start with snacks, followed by fresh-from-the-oven crusty homemade sourdough white and kumara breads served with a side of boutique salt peppered olive oil. The courses then commence and it's always a joy to anticipate what comes next. There are 4 savoury mains followed by a palate cleanser and dessert. The 7 course has an additional in-house-crafted nut cheese plate and a second dessert.
