"We were taken by a local family to enjoy an evening with cashons, a speciality in the area. It was prepared as it should, with pinzgau cheese and browned onion rings. Everyone eats from a huge pan, 'connected food' to a new level... There are also many other dishes to choose if cheese is not your thing. Anyone who likes cheese will love the Guggenbichl Kasnocken. Unruly, warm and welcoming to visit a must when you find it on the hill above the village of Kaprun. A small minus allowed for smoking in the restaurant. But also here is Austria, where smoking is allowed in restaurants. Please have a non-smoking area."
