"We stop at Morro's a few times every year. It may not look open, but usually is.Surfers, backpackers & locals. Kinda primitive, sand floor, no walls, rustic, but great food.Great breakfast, eggs, fruit, coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice at the counter.Looks like to be "mom & pop" type place. About as authentic s it could get."

"I asked Desayuno Yucateco, it included delicious huevos tlalpeños (eggs tlalpeños), fruit, orange juice and chocolate. I really recommend that you ask it when you visit it in the morning. The price was cheap than other breakfast in the menu. I sat in the first floor next to the window from where I had a good view of the zocalo and the people around there. They treated me well, so I hope to go back soon."

"If they are in the merced market, they also try the stall called la guerita at the corner closest to the calzada de la republica and also recommended by rick bayliss. absolutely tasty memelas and tlayudas try the huitlacoche (corn mushroom/moushroom) or to die for cochinita pibil....Nothing about themselves in terms of cleanliness, and fresh juice from the salesman next door, to their table skill (actually only a chair and counter) in la guerita. if they have luck, there is a provider right next to the open they can give him a good tipp (and his sons, if they're happy enough to get the young who plays the button akkordeon) plus a great meal that fills them completely all for under $4. real mexiko. Do not miss the bird's offerer outside."
