"When I was on the way to work, I thought I would try this place I went to most days. I ordered Teriyaki chicken and a curved prawn avocado sushi rolls. they were packed in a paper bag that didn't go so well around the bag. So when I got to my destination, the garnish and the avorolle looked through the paper bag in my pocket and I had to throw it away. And the Teriyaki chicken tasted like dosen thunfisch. it wasn't nice or what I expected."

"I was excited when a colleague asked me to go and get a Nutella donut this morning so we wandered down to Valentines and got 4 of them and a coffee. You can imagine our disappointment when 2 of the 4 donuts didn't actually have any Nutella in them and were just plain tasteless doughnuts. The coffee was nice (Bacanos I think), which is why this gets a 1.5 and not a zero. We paid $14 for the donuts and probably could have made them with a tub of Nutella and some stale bread rolls"

"We filled the Hotel to the brim with Conference attendees. We needed to have early breakfast and the Hotel went above and beyond, every one was well fed an hydrated and it ran seamlessly. The food was plentiful and delicious."

"Not sure why the previous review stated this was closed, my husband and I enjoyed lunch here on Aug 8th, there is a lunch, dinner and Thai menu. I had basil and spinach fettuccini which lacked flavour, my husband had the chicken sandwich and fries that he enjoyed, I had a taste and his was definitely the better option. I did very much enjoy the fresh juice, orange pineapple and lime. A little pricey for the portion sizes for a lunch, but the atmosphere was nice and I didn't leave hungry."

"The restaurant is easy to access being located on the main boulevard of the Roma St Parklands and only a short walk from platform 10 of Roma St. station. After leaving the restaurant, we walked towards the city and after a short time arrived at Albert St, City. There were great city views from here and we also admired the work done to make this section of the parklands user friendly. So, in many respects the restaurant is in an ideal location for easy accessibility.My friend chose eggs benedict and I the Roma omelette. There were no problems about the service: I had been there quite a while before I ordered. They were very polite and accepting about the situation and attentive to our needs. The young woman attending to our table was an absolute delight. Once we ordered, the food took some time to be served, but then, in my kitchen it takes some time to cook an omelette, too. Hence, I was fairly convinced - and hopeful - the food would be freshly made and not something reheated, and this was so: it was fresh and hot when served. The dishes had been adapted according to the chef's particular style - pleasant variations. Both of us like to try new approaches to old favourites so we were quite satisfied.The outlook from the restaurant is one of spaciousness: overlooking the Roma St. Parklands. The restaurant itself gives this impression of spaciousness as well. Frequently tables are so close together, one feels as if one is rubbing shoulders with the person behind. Not so, here, there is a comfortable distance between the tables: a definite positive. The restaurant is full of light, airy and clean.A couple of things caught my attention. The menu shows a reasonable number of Asian dishes for a reasonable price. Further, I noted that late afternoon is a happy hour where several dishes are offered for less than $10. I commented, as were attending to payment, that I would return to try some of their Asian cooking. In all, we had a very pleasant, relaxing breakfast."
