"In early May I was in Paris and absolutely fell in love with not just the city but the food... But when I came home I fell into kinda a food depression... Let me explain... the highlight of my trip was waking up in the...morning and having a fresh Baguette, Confiture, Coffee and a glass of fresh squeezed Orange Juice on the terrasse and people watching... For weeks since my return I couldn't find a Baguette or Croissant anything close to the ones in Paris... Until I dropped into this little bakery beside Ultramar by the 329 in Lachute... LACHUTE???? yup Lachute my home town... The smell as you walk in is absolutely wonderful... yeast... olive oil... that wonderful little aroma of those slightly burnt edges... They have a huge selection but in small quantities... Let me tell you Boulangerie-Patisserie Dauphin is not a Parisienne boulangerie but it's damn close... Honestly the best bread you can get in lower Laurentians and Montreal... it's that good Suggest their Baguette with Rye it's absolutely heaven..."
