"This week my wife was taken very sick in Arles and we had to catch a TGV from Avignon with connection to EurostAr in Lille. We were totally unaware of the services available. At the station I was directed to a person in Orange jacket.. we were taken over, with wheelchair and carer, put in cafe and then to the platform at the right point and into our seats. She also arranged for the same service at Lille for our change to Eurostar and then at St.Pancras. It all happened so smoothly and friendily, giving us both enormous relief from the stress of the previous days. Thank you SNCF Eurostar we hope reading this will also help other foreign travellers in the event that they need such help"

"Thank you so much for all that contribute to Trip Advisor as it was your reviews that led the of us to this unbelievably good restaurant. We had the set menu lunch at per person plus three wines at house reds and...one white whilst two of our party weren’t drinking]. The ambience of the restaurant represented all that is French. Beautifully but simplistically decorated, quaint tables and chairs and situated on a lovely little street which combined to set the relaxing mood. The entrees we had were black pudding; quiche; salmon and a vegan salad. Wow! The portions were HUGE and would largely have done as a main meal particularly the quiche. The salmon was supported by a beautiful salad with a fantastic vinaigrette, and our vegan friend was very happy with his salad. The main courses followed; x duck, one cod dish, and one vegetable bourgignon. The duck skewer was simply sublime and again very generous portions for all. All of our friends thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Desserts were cheesecake; boiled pear with syrup; orange drenched sponge cake; and a very unusual macadamia and sweet potato strip. They were again beautiful. Tips: Book early as we were extremely lucky to get in and saw quite a few customers turned away (the restaurant seated about pax inside and four outside); be patient and don’t go if your in a hurry. There was only one chef and one waitress who both worked flat out but obviously it was a tough gig to keep up; order all of your meals at the one time through to dessert because otherwise it would take twice as long; the toilet is very clean and unusual (I won’t spoil the surprise you may have to bring your own beer as they didn’t have any the day we went; there was a good range of wines and our table connoisseurs were very happy with the table wine. "Je travail à côté et j'ai plaisir d'y aller fréquemment. Que ce soit pour emporter un plat du jour ou le fameux PJ tant scandé en début de service, pour boire une citronnade ou un thé selon la saison et accompagné d'un cookies ou d'une part de apple pie (pour mes préférés). L'ambiance y est sympa et chaleureuse on s'y sent comme à la maison... Le choix des repas y est simple mais toujours avec de bons produits frais."
