"This is a neighborhood restaurant that was an amazing find. It was a romantic, intimate location, lively with locals enjoying the perfectly prepared food and wine. My wife and I shared the caprese and then one of the most flavorful carbonaras we have eaten outside of Rome itself. We will definitely be back next time we are in Houston."

"Short ribs were old, hard and dry. Macaroni and cheese lobster was dry and old. You could tell by looking at the noodles. Very disappointing. For the prices you charge your food should be superb and it was it."

Highly recommend going when they open back up at their new location in August. "While I understand that you can only rate 5 stars for fully vegan / vegetarian restaurants, I must say that this menu has a FULL course separate vegan menu.. This is amazing, and deserves every bit of 5 stars. I have MANNY things on the menu and I'm always happy and full. When I visit the Bay Area, this charming pizzeria is to stop on my list. I have to say that the Penne e Salsiccia has my heart. The locally created vegan sausage is THE BEST I've ever had, and the truffle oil with white wine and sun-dried tomatoes is just fantastic!!! I usually only have very basic pasta with Marinara when I go to Italian restaurants, and that makes me expand my horizons to have something different and very tasty. The fagioli all’uccelletto is also a delicious appetizer. The portions are filled, the prices are fair and I usually have leftovers. Maybe Italians are stuck together, but this family-run business has a very warm and welcoming feeling, and this is not just the drinks (which are also fabulous! ."

"Service was excellent all the staff with whom we interacted were very nice and friendly. the food is delicious and moderate. wished to choose more. so they know that the menu is limited in offered. the focaccia was all sold out what was unhappy, but we could order the ricotta court with some discs of focaccia on the side. they were burned a little. Pasta dishes made for this! 10/10 on cacio e peppe!"
