"We love Greek hospitality and, of course, especially Greek cuisine with its diverse specialities. We went to the Helena restaurant because of a recommendation on a Thursday evening. We liked the first impression. Although we have arrived quite early (about 17:30 a.m., we had 4-5 tables for our surprise, despite the day of the week and three more reserved. As usual, we received an ice-cold “Ouzo” for greeting the most popular Greek national drink. At the ambience of the restaurant with its feel-good atmosphere, there is really nothing to complain about. The location in the historic “Drei Giebel House” is already worth seeing. Since we almost always order the same dishes in Greek restaurants, we were able to compare the dishes in their quality very well. As a fan of Greek cuisine, we both agreed that the food wasn't bad, but we won't be refreshed either. The appetizer “Grilled Peperoni in Garlic Oil” for 4,00 €, because we finally got really fresh weis bread in sufficient quantity. What we didn’t like was the meat of our grilled dishes, which was simply too dry for us (and not as promised in the map “juicy and tender” . Maybe the food was prepared too soon this day. What we also did not like – as with another critic – were the dry thick Greek potatoes. This supplement should be referred to when ordering. We also noticed that with the drinks, we had a 1⁄2 liter of mafrodaphne (Greek sweet wine at €9.60. With the same quality in Bad Nenndorf, this is €7.60 at our Greeks. Otherwise, the really huge plates were very beautifully decorated and appealingly executed, but unfortunately the food did not have the quality we expected. The service this evening was attentive and customer-oriented has received our requests for change in the supplements. In summary, we found that it is not worth visiting the restaurant Helena from the Bad Nenndorf area."

"I liked it very well. The waiter was very courteous and friendly, the food came with exactly the right distance (appearance main course) and after that there was another ouzo. Fine. Ambiente is also beautiful. Not so old a modernly furnished restaurant in the old building with work. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"
