"Disappointing. Waited 20 minutes for beers. Appetizer charcuterie was good, but arrived at minute 50. Mains arrived 25 minutes later. Tartare was very good. Japanese chicken thigh was completely unseasoned (not 'under, 'un' like zero), as was the batter. Young waiter was green and perhaps in the weeds, but trailed by a trainee or high-end bus person who missed nothing and is a keeper.So food execution is completely random, and perhaps aggravated by a culture that seems biased towards serving drinks and not food. I've no problem with that, but don't understand the apparent food ambitions.So we'll likely not return, but because of the charcuterie and tartare I'm hopeful it might someday become more consistent on the food front."

"Used Trip Advisor to locate a cheap place to eat with good reviews. I decided to take the small walk from the Novotel Hotel I was staying at, to the Patrician Grill. Sat at the counter and ordered coffee and a Western Omelet. While waiting for my order I was checking out the list of alcoholic beverages offered on the back. Not that I was looking for a drink this early in the day but I was curious as to what was available. At the top of the list was Ouzo a classic Greek aperitif. Ahhh this place is Greek owned. I shared stories with the owners of my stay last year in Kalamata. One story in particular related to how everywhere in Kalamata the credit card was not accepted or their machine was broken. They must have been chuckling internally. I forgot to look for signage upon entering for what payment forms were accepted. I soon found out it was just like home for the owners CASH ONLY!They gladly took my $10 USD. Money well spent! The breakfast and conversations were enjoyable.There was a steady flow of locals coming in and the grill was sizziling. I watched as the cook verified the temperature of his oil in the deep fat fryer with an infrared thermometer before frying potatoes. This is a step up from what some called a greasy spoon in my opinion. I like my fried foods crispy when I have them, not soggy."
