"Tiny restaurant in a strip mall on Centre St north near Lina's. Fresh basic dim sum to eat at the 4 tables in the front plus an extensive choice of frozen dim sum from the take-out freezer too. Good and quick"

"This restaurant is known to provide smaller portion of food and higher price than other restaurants. Food can be good or bad depends on how lucky one is. Ordered 7 items: Rice in bamboo container with shrimps similar to Shanghai veggie rice, taste...good and there were 6 8 shrimps. 6 of us could have at least a bowl of rice a shrimp. Deep fried dace fish balls Menu says it's dace fish but indeed it's some other kind of fish. Still taste good, fish ball was pretty big. The claim sauce wasn't the authentic although the menu says so. Shanghai style fried noodle Barely acceptable. Noodles were broken and overcooked, too soggy. The Great Taste in China Town makes way better. Salt and pepper deep fried tofu Crunchy fried tofu, taste right, not too salty. Highly recommended. It will be better if they cut the tofu in even sizes. Stir fried pork with chives Taste good. They cut pork belly into tiny pieces so it didn't taste too greasy. Snow pea leaves with oyster mushroom in oyster sauce Veggie was green and fresh but the whole dish was tasteless, Wonder if the cook forgot to add a pinch of salt in, although happy there was no MSG. Cantonese Poached Chicken w/ Ginger Scallion Oil Chicken was definitely overcooked, being soaked in hot water for too long, although taste good. So very unpredictable, you never know whether the cook would make standard food or screw everything up."

"We visited Dong Khanh on May 17th, 2016. My husband ordered #36, a combination of beef, shrimp, squid, crab meat and vegetable stir fried rice noodle. The serving was large and vegetables were fresh. Overall a good dish. I ordered #61 Grilled chicken and spring...rolls with rice vermicelli. The dish was fine but there was a green herb in it that tasted somewhat like black licorice that I wasn't fond of and it would have been much better with some form of sauce. That said I ate it all and without a sauce the vermicelli with greens and sprouts was like eating a salad. They serve leaf tea with meals which was enjoyable. The two meals came to a total of just under $22, so extremely reasonable. Service and food was very quick. We ordered ate, and enjoyed our tea in under 30 minutes. The décor is nothing fancy but overall we would go back."

"Nice Dim Sum at a reasonable price, great for a nice lunch but parking is not the best. However you can always park on the street and pay the meter. Service is acceptable and food is tasty. Great price for take out orders after 5:00 pm."

"The reason why I say this is a true HK style tea restaurant is because its staff give you minimal service and virtually no smile, you have to order quick, but the food is decent (except noodle soup). But that's ok because the staff are not unkind, it's just the way it is. Food is usually very tasty and served quickly, but beware that you et your food much quicker if you order a set than from a la carte menu. Avoid the wonton noodle soup and those type of noodle soup, they are not so good."
