"Hail to the King !!! This is probably the best Chinese food restaurant in Toronto.Chinese food like I remember when growing up. The wonton soup with bbq pork shown is how the soup used to come at ANY Chinese restaurant with bok choi, bbq pork, shrimp and pork wonton noodles, chopped green onion and delicious broth. All that was missing from my childhood memories were water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.Nowadays, most Chinese restaurants will serve you one lonely wonton that you have to chase around in a bowl of dishwasher posing as broth.King's certainly raises the bar back to where it should be. The lemon chicken is dusted not breaded making it a much lighter and enjoyable dish. The 3 seafood on Chinese greens is awesome.Dining out has become much more expensive post COVID however, King's at least tries to give you some value for the dollar.Great food, excellent and kind service with reasonable value.I highly recommend you give it a try. You won't regret it."

"In my search for the best Thai food in the area, I stumbled upon Red Thai Chili. I have always graded a Thai place with the quality of their Pad Thai. This dish is very low quality. The dish is dry and lacking sauce. Also...authentic Pad thai certainly does not have carrots and celery as part of the dish. It is cheap and reflected in the food. The fried egg roll is definitely not house made and came from a frozen box. There are many thai food place in the area. I would not consider this as one of them"

"This place is tucked away on Colborne Street, Church and Jarvis. The food was very good with fair size portions and authentic taste. The fresh salad rolls were the best I have tasted in a long time. They even serve Singha beer for the full Thai experience. A must try for Thai food. They even have delivery or takeout, but I would recommend eating there - the service was excellent."

"Another fair restaurant with decent food and not muchin the way of atmosphere. To be fair, the place is in the middle of basically nowhere, and most of the customersdon't really stay; it looks like more of a take-out/delivery joint than a place people come to dine.The Thai is good, but I was a little disappointed that therewas no Som Tam (Papaya Salad) on the menu. For me, that's really the litmus test for a true Thai restaurant: you'dbe challenged to go anywhere in Thailand and find a menuw/o Som Tam on it (or at least a vendor who wouldn't makeit for you if they didn't bother with a menu)."

"We used to live in Toronto and loved this place. We've returned every year and it gets more and more disappointing every year. This year the ginger lobster was the worst I've ever had - very dry and absolutely no meat - like someone's leftovers. Super friendly service but we come for the food - not the service. Sadly, we won't be back."
