"We went to The Nomad for a family birthday. The restaurant's menu is a mix between standard steakhouse fare and Hungarian specialities. We primarily had steaks (one vegetarian in our party had the risotto) which were tasty. The sides are served family style and were all good. The Hungarian desserts (apparently made fresh in-house) were delightful and in a nod to the coffee house culture of Budapest, after dinner coffee is French press; a nice touch. Owners came by to see how we were enjoying and were friendly. Nice to have a reasonably-priced steakhouse in the neighbourhood. They also do a Wednesday-only schnitzel night as a further nod to the Eastern European roots."
