"Averys is by far one of the best surprises a local can find. The buffalo shrimp with crumbled bleu cheese has made me return over and over. The gumbo is excellent and even the French bread is perfectly light, crisp and fluffy with the right amount of salted butter. I frequent some of the highest ranking restaurants in the city regularly and Avery's is every bit as good as a Brennan family restaurant. The more attractive price is just lagniappe."

"Was there for a Rehearsal dinner for my best friends wedding. Didn 't get any food pics but I will say The Bread Pudding is the BEST I 've ever eaten. Their Bartender 'Ace ' was amazing. Although they didn 't normally make Sangria, she had all the ingredients necessary and Rocked it!"

"Our first time dining at Landry’s and it was fabulous. We had a wonderful waiter , Charles, who not only saw to our every need( moving us to another table cause we were too close to bar station=noise) but was also very knowledgeable about the menu. Charles, our waiter, made suggestions for our meal after we told him it was our first time to Landry’s. From our crawfish bread appetizer, to our Blackened Redfish Etouffee and Stuffed Shrimp en Brochette entrees, we were treated to a well prepared, delicious meal. Then to top off our evening, we took Charles suggestion to enjoy the Triple Chocolate Cake and we were not disappointed. Thank you Landry’s and especially Charles for a fabulous New Year’s Eve dining experience. We will be back."
