"Nothing to write home about, but works if you find yourself in the middle of nowhere Kentucky! They serve oyster crackers to start, and I didn’t eat those since I wasn’t sure if they were vegan. On their menu, have a few vegetarian options which are variations on the same thing vegetarian beans and rice on spaghetti, on a potato, by itself, etc. Just ask for no sour cream/cheese and the beans and rice are vegan. They also have a Greek salad (get no feta; plus it has chickpeas on it which I loved! and a House salad you can get without cheese or croutons. Like I mentioned nothing to write home about but if you go with folks who want to go to an “authentic” Cincinnati restaurant, you’ll be able to eat!"

"Excellent in every sight. service was excellent and also eating. essplatz in covington. they do not have to go over the lake when they live in Mandeville/Covington areas. Maybe it's a little pricy, but it's worth it. Great eating! Noble level was low, which creates a personal atmosphere."

"Wife and I dropped in for lunch because it was across the street from an antique store where we were shopping. Had no expectations but we were very impressed. Got a half Oyster PoBoy and a cup of Gumbo and it was the best fried oysters I've had in several years! They were large and perfect! The Gumbo was full of Gulf Shrimp and very tasty! The 1/2 order of Onion Rings was large and the recipe is incredible also, so I assume that the other menu items are as tasty. Service and atmosphere is great as well. We will be returning to this place!"

"Our first time on the roof terrace. A very pleasant atmosphere. Wednesday is fried chicken night. Fried chicken, potatoes, green collar and maize bread. It was all delicious. Make sure and ask for the house made hot sauce!"

"11/22/2017 Those Groupon discounts keep bringing us back, but it 's almost not worth it. I had the colossal burger again... which was good, but no longer in my top 5, especially since I had to ask to dress it. The waitress forgot to put in half our order, so we waited a little longer than the kids. Also had to flag her down for drink refills. Might try again, especially if there 's another Groupon! Lol. <br/ <br/ 10/10/2016 Came in for a return visit and didn 't have a good experience. I had the double hot sausage poboy the conveniently had the four burnt sides turned towards each other to hide it from me. The Crawfish appetizer was bland and their special roumalade sauce didn 't help much. My youngest enjoyed his kid 's hamburger, but everyone else left food on their plates. The one saving grace was our fantastic server, felt bad for her... she deserves to be in a better establishment. Lowered rating.<br/ <br/ Preciously... We arrived through the backdoor and were seated right away on a Sunday evening. The menu was a mix of seafood and American dishes. Our party of 6 shared the chargrilled oysters and found them to be ok... but we 'd probably skip them next time. I tried my wife 's 'Jill 's Crawfish Fettuccine ' and my daughter 's 'Crawfish Heaven ' and was not impressed... although they loved it. Now... the a1two Colossal Bacon Burgers were... unbelievable! Probably in the top five burgers I 've ever had. The kids had chicken strips which were as expected. Chris did an ok job waiting on us and we will definitely be back soon!"
