"Some friends have booked a table here, so I trusted them not to know the place. I must say I wasn't disappointed with the trust I put in them. The food was delicious! Fresh seafood, well cooked and interesting dishes. We all ordered a starter and a head. I ordered shells and crabs Mornay. I love the shells! I'd probably have taken the larger part than the main one because I'd prefer the crab. The crab was delicious, but too much cheese for my taste that made the crab as the second character of the dish. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. I just had a lunch, so I can't say anything about the accusations. But we will come back and suggest this place to other friends!"

"Expensive but you get what you pay for. elevated fusion. egg fried rice upgrade for the mains is very worth it. starters were great; we had soft shell and prawn (sub for the squid). the prawn main wasn't worth but the kung po chicken was. service very attentive. would recommend!"

"Ten friends and I dined in De Villle's Restaurant, Dalkey, on Saturday the 20th of August, 2022. As a large group we had a special area in the restaurant which suited our needs perfectly. We were allocated a waiter by the name of Herb to our table for the whole evening. He was attentive, charming and looked after us in a professional manner. From starters, main course to desserts everyone was able to select from an extensive menu. The feed back from everyone the next day was that they all had a superb meal and enjoyed themselves tremendously in a very atmospheric restaurant. We will certainly be back again. "Second time to visit FX Buckley’s, first time in Pembroke Street. We had the Chataubriand to share and it’s truly unforgettable, best steak we have ever had. Only complaint is there wasn’t more of it. Excellent restaurant."

"Given the wrong steak. 5 of us, all ask for a 12oz fillets, we get 4 fillets and I end up with a Delmonico? Told it would take a while if I wanted to wait for the fillet ie. The rest will be finished by the time it comes out. Not sure why a medium rare steak would take that long to do, considering it should have been a priority to get it back out to me. Steak was nice but unacceptable service. The girl was a bit panicky so I didn't want to force the issue. Really disappointing. Nothing complementary for the error. Won't be rushing back.
