"Our group has come to the Royal on the water for many years, the last time in March. As we all know, a lot has happened in the hospitality industry since March. At the Royal, regular employees seem to have been replaced by very young, almost work experience people. In this way the administration was forced due to the Covid pandemic, but it certainly leads to an unusual lunch. The work that paid for what was laborious and confusing at the end of the meal. Not as pleasant an experience as in the past. Food quality also slipped a bit."

"Decided to eat there as staying at the Goodearth Hotel. We was reminded of kitchen closure time (9pm) so sat down at 7.30pm.... main meal arrived before we finished the starters and as people left they were packing away tables around us. Food was ok...and staff friendly but wouldn't go there again."

"Came here for the first time and loved it! Had dinner at the Deck which consisted of share plates and lucky for me most could be made gluten free! The broccoli salad and pulled pork was delicious, although I was unsure whether I liked the garlic bread which was made with ricotta and shaved garlic pieces. Grilled cheese was very salty but I love salt so didn't bother me too much. <br>
The Deck is the more casual part and you don't need a reservation, but it was still table service which was nice and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely go back. Would be a great place to go during the summer."

"Love The Pan Pacific Hotel, a place we always stay when visiting Perth due to beautiful staff, wonderful suites & great breakfasts. Very positive experience here for afternoon tea with lots of beautiful sweet treats & deserts. Not to mention the free flowing sparkling. Coffee was a tad bitter which is my only complaint, very well presented however"

"We came to this restaurant to have the buffet dinner for the first time. There have very limited range of food. The seafood selection was still okay but there were hardly any hot dishes. Couple of hot dishes seems like been sitting there for ages and doesn't look very appealing. Service was absolutely terrible. The restaurant was reasonably quiet. We have to asked them for some water in the bowl so we can wash our hands after eating the seafood and constantly having to ask them to take away our used plate with all the empty shell. <br>
For the price of $65 for just the limited selection of food and terrible service, it was not worth it. Not to mentioned our wine cost us another $65 on top of the dinner."
