"What a very pleasant discovery. Looking for somewhere for lunch we stumbled upon Le Bistro by chance and were pleased that we did. A small but very cute restaurant with a good choice on the menu including many pizzas. I ordered from the plat de...jour, the salad with lardons to start with was excellent followed by belly pork and chips and salad. Again, a very decent meal full of flavour and beautifully cooked. My wife went for the quatre fromages pizza and it was also very pleasant. Shame we were driving as the choice of wines and draft beers was excellent and would have enhanced an already very pleasant experience. We had arrived bang on 12.00 and were the first customers but when we left the place was full and our table had new customers waiting for it as soon as we got up to leave. Always a good sign!"

"Had a lovely afternoon meal with some friends where I had a very nice bowl of mussels with cream washed down with a lovely bottle of Sancerre wine. The service was top notch as was the freshness of the seafood."
