"Shaggy?s Gulfport Beach was great! The atmosphere was fantastic with outdoor seating and windows facing the gulf. It just looks like one of those beach restaurants you want to eat at. Now to the food. The food was good as well, but the proportions were off from other restaurant prices and proportions we had. The Royal Reds dish was great but lacked everything except the shrimp! I had a good bit of large shrimp but not hardly anything else that goes with it such as potatoes sausage. We enjoyed Shaggy?s Gulfport Beach but will consider alternatives due to the food proportions and price."

"My husband chose the perfect place for a birthday dinner!! He loved the fried alligator, and I enjoyed the tasty crab cakes. We both had the seafood platter, which was hot, yummy and well seasoned. The experience was great and the live band was a funbonus. Our waitress was very kind and service was fast, considering how busy the place was on a Saturday night. The price wasworth the overall exoerience!!"

"The food was amazingly great!! The steak was perfectly cooked, so tender it would melt in your mouth and was seasoned to perfection, I can't think of one thing that could be improved. I've never been let down at Captn Al's and that's why I eat there as often as I can."

"Unfortunately when you Google Gourmet Breakfast in Mississippi Waffle House and McDonalds comes up. Thankfully I looked deeper and found this place to have brunch. I ordered the crab cakes and fried eggs, a side of bacon, and a side of cheese grits. Everything was tasty beyond expectations. And I say that because locally there aren 't a lot of options for a decent breakfast. This place is definitely worth a visit for sure. Our server Bryan was attentive, informative, and our food arrived promptly and with complimentary mimosas! Go here."

"So we decided to try somewhere we haven’t been and when I say they could’ve kept the restaurant and the food, throw everything away. Felt like a restaurant off of one of the National Lapoon movies. Super outdated..food was mediocre just “ok” absolutely nothing spectacular. Def a place to grab a bite if you need a break from gambling. We got the spinach dip, stuffed shrimp, surf n turf, red velvet cakeall was just . Def needs a menu environment upgrade!"
