"Ok years ago Fred's fish was the best. I bought a 9pc.family order and was disappointed. Maybe it was me but the fish seemed to need more frying or that's how long its been that I bought it and it just tastes that way. .other issue the fries that came in that order very small. I seriously split the fries 3 ways and we each got like 7 fries. Plus all that fish and only 3 ketchup packs.SMH when I got home. $23.00. Not worth the price. Sticking with JAnthonys!"

"It was great, went with a friend who is a chef, and he wanted Red Lobster. I had shrimp Scampi, popcorn shrimp, fish filet, cold slaw. Mash potatoes. Plus the great biscuits and fried calamari. Call me well fed."

"The fried trout and fried shrimp were perfect, although next time I'll buy larger portions, it's so delicious; the prices are quite reasonable. For once, NO bones in the trout; most other restaurants just can't get all the pinbones out of trout. If this place starts selling fried scallops, I'll have to move in! They manage to fry everything without greasiness and without overcooking or drying out the items. They also have egg rolls and fried rice, unusual for a fried seafood place. They have an actual fish chips meal that includes fried cod and hand-cut fries, with malt vinegar, etc. Next time, I'm going for the fish and chips, which should be divine. These folks know how to fry! Friendly staff. The owner takes time to greet the guests, a nice touch. A winner, in a modest business strip location."
