"Wow! what an amazing culinary experience. chef yugi put an impressive show of abilities that eating was delicious (the eye filet steak melted literally in the mouth), and we even have some games to play during the meal. such a unique experience in a beautiful location. I would recommend a visit at tempest teppanyaki grill. vegetarian options: vegetarian options were available. child-friendly kid: friendly, however, since the grill is right in front of the diners, and there are flames during the cooking process, they cannot let young children run around: they should sit or stay in a high chair. the children who were at our meeting (approx. 8 and 10) had a great time. Parking: free parking in front of the spot or parking available. dietary restrictions: during the ordering process everyone was asked whether he has any food requirements. I am lactose intolerant and they were not only willing to take me, but were fully aware of what I could and could not have on their menu."

"Very over priced. The entree tart is nothing but filo pastry with a bit of tomato in the middle of it. You would think for the price the waiters would be more professional. But I must say our mains where very nice."

"Great Local independant Italian!!!<br>
I have only been here once and really enjoyed the food and service - its italian with a twist for example their is egg in the Lasange (but its awesome) We were offered free aranchini balls on arrival which was a nice touch and they were tasty!!! Its a BYO so you can have a nice inexpensive night out while supporting your local community.<br>

One odd thing I forgot to mention is the frozen Veges you get with the fish - rather odd I would rather have salad or nothing."

"Not too bad.. Lunchtime midweek. 3 other customers. Typically overpriced Perth for any place trading on a "name". Kiwi hake is the standard "fish & chips" at $12 and $15 for std and large. Any variation to this heads up towards $21 for std. serve. As a comparison my local fish & chips serves local snapper as its std F&C for $7.50 - here it was $21 !!! I do realise that the price of most local fresh fish at the market is astronomical, but not snapper, surely? <br>
Anyway I had blue spot emperor at $17 F&C and it was excellent. Firm white mild flavoured flesh in a minimal batter. The chips were not spectacular but were firm and not greasy or smelly. A good F&C meal on the day."

"This appears to be the only survivor of the Fig group of cafes (the Naked Fig and the Pickled Fig seem to have closed), and it is in a great location on Scarborough Esplanade not far from the powder white sand and blue ocean. The menu is not overly inventive – it has many of the brekkie favourites – eggs, croissants, pancakes etc. but I liked that the menu offered several vegan and gluten free options. I can’t cope with much dairy – it’s good to have non-dairy alternatives, and this is where a vegan friendly menu helps me."

"We've been to the pub a number of times. The grass area is great for the kids and we mainly go with larger groups (don't forget to book) which the venue really suits. The food is what you'd expect, though the view is what it's all about. We will return again."
