"Special thanks to Jenny and her team for providing a great venue and an impressive buffet selection after the Memorial Service for my Mum at Lydd Church last week. Teas and coffees with delicious scones were provided for folk arriving early for the service. Being a short walk from the Church the The George was ideally located for us. Jenny ensured that the buffet was tailored to our requirements, including provision for vegetarian and gluten free in a wide ranging spread. We were also assisted with table decorations and music. We were very pleased that the event delivered our wish to celebrate Mum's life with her family and friends."

"We were given a great table with view of the harbour. Food, cocktails service was all 1st class. We were surprised with a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend!"

"Phenomenally overrated. We sat in a shabby room at the rear that was full of pointless furniture, the lighting and ambience was dreadful. Maybe I’m lucky to have an enthusiastic cook at chez nous but this meal was very average and vastly overpriced… the icing on the cake ? A 75ml glass of pineau at £9 (the price of 75cl in leclerc) and a glass of Sparkling vouvray £11.50 (6€ a BOTTLE in France). Avoid"
