"Went on a Sunday right when they opened. There was a baby shower going on so we decided to sit outside. Atmosphere was good, service was quick. Drinks were tasty and beer was cold. The 4 of us went the cheaper route and all got burgers. All the burgers were cooked perfectly and came with fresh cut fries. 1 of our party got dessert and she said it was amazing. 4 people, 240 bucks including a 20% tip, not bad at all. Will venture back for burgers or to try something else. Overall experience very good. The boardwalk is also a stones throw away to work off a filling meal."

"We were seeking a quiet, relaxing and tasty meal while in the Sparta area and a friend recommended Mohawk House. It was lovely, and they could not have been more accommodating. Nice atmosphere inside (quaint) and larger than it looks. We were initially seated in a busy traffic area, and our server did not hesitate to move us when we asked. Much more relaxed then, and could really enjoy the food and beverages. The restaurant has a full cocktail and wine menu, but I did not partake as we had just come from a wine tasting elsewhere. The roasted beet salad was excellent and more than enough to share. My seabags entree was cooked to perfection, and came with a butternut squash risoto. Really great, as were the Brussels sprouts, onion rings and tuna tacos. A few downsides to know, but did not bother me too much most everything is a la carte, so even the onion rings were $9. Also the chef does not allow any substitution of sides. While I liked my side, the people at the other table could not sub a potato for the risotto which seems frustrating for a $42 entree. Prince points match quality. I'd dine here again. Our server was excellent very friendly and attentive."
