"Steaks are always good (and food here in general) and no exception this time. However the steak I had must have been pre-cooked and was only just warm. On the plus side, we got our food super quick after ordering, especially for a steak."

"Wife and I called in for drink before having dinner. Unappealing decor, very blokey, sporty and gambling bar with the odd undesirable lurking around. Nice barmaid, very efficient and run of her feet at times. Remembered my initial order. TV screens all over the place all running sport. Wouldn 't take Mum there"

"After reading reviews on tripadvisor, I decided to go to this restaurant. the trip from mackay is about 10 minutes. we ordered the seafood cellar that was fresh and tasty. Steady stream locale who pick up their take confirmed its very popular location."

"The "cook" had a flu - runny nose and an awful cough. She was coughing without covering her mouth over the food prep areas and wiping snot off her nose with her bare hands and then touching people's food without washing or sanitizing. The menu displays "fish" but when I asked what type of fish nobody knew. I took my order and threw it in the bin so I have no idea what it tasted like, I really didn't want to eat fish surprise and get a flu. KFC is right across the road, a safer option, cooked with hygiene and cheaper."

"I chose 6 oysters as my appetizer - 2 natural and then 1 of each different variety. They were all delicious!Grass fed eye fillet for a main with a side of greens and a salad. More than either of us could eat!Service was very attentive. Will certainly visit again on my next visit to Mackay"
