"First let me start by saying the Food was definitely not bad it just wasn't what a $300 meal for 2 should have been. Maybe we went there on an off night but I feel for the price we paid, there are better steak houses in the valley. We had a sitter for 2_1/2 hours for our kid so I figured 2 hours at the restaurant would be enough time but we ended up having to leave before we finished, we asked for the check as soon as our food hit the table. We ordered a giant steak for 2 to share and requested med rare.. it came out more on the well side. They didn't seem very busy but the kitchen was pretty slow. I'd like to give them another chance but not sure I want to pony up that much for a mediocre meal."

"We had a great experience at North Block! The menu was beautifully executed with exciting flavors and appealing presentation. Ahi tuna toast, sun chokes and pork ribs were delicious. The service was excellent attentive and accommodating. They have an outdoor uncovered patio with heaters if you’re concerned about indoor dining in a pandemic. The restaurant is is small enough to feel intimate but spacious enough that you’re not too close to other tables. The bar is great and you could definitely enjoy a few appetizers and cocktails there if you didn’t want a full meal."

"This would have been an Excellent review, if not for the Maitre d'. The food and table service were great and the atmosphere was vibrant. It was our wedding anniversary dinner, planned and booked one month in advance. We were excited as we traveled from Texas to experience Napa Valley and have our dinner at Bouchon. When we checked in, the Maître d' looked around and immediately placed us in the bar area and not the dining room (with table cloths She didn't even ask us if we wanted to wait for a table, which we would have. No, she just sat us in the bar area. This is not what I would call good service! I expect much better from a Thomas Keller restaurant! I'm sorry to report this, but the restaurant needs to know. Again, the wait staff was great and the food excellent."

"OMG! This place is amazing! Quite an extraordinary restaurant I must say! Went there for brunch earlier today on our weekend trip to Napa. Started with endive salad and fresh bread from their famous bakery which were both so delicious. The salad was made so delicately with endives and watercress with a fabulous lemon olive dressing with walnuts so good! Then I tried their signature mushroom dish which they very kindly custom made a vegetarian version for me and which was to die for! Each piece of mushroom was sauteed to perfection! Finally we had the lemon tart for dessert which was just out of this world! A perfect blend of sweet and sour very subtle and very smooth! This is as good as it gets guys, don't miss this place if visiting Napa."
