"In short the food was good... but we were not offered pepper which I personally like especially with Italian cuisine. As a couple there was a 15 minute wait time between our meals. We were on a romantic dinner and we didn’t know how long it would take so we waited and it got a bit cold. Staff weren’t forthcoming or apologetic regarding the wait. It appears that the staff in this restaurant are hired on the basis that they are edgy and aloof. This is an outdated mode of customer service many restaurants were hiring arrogant staff 10 years ago in quality restaurants but now the restaurants which hold onto this ethos appear to be shockingly disrespectful and outdated. One staff member made an attempt of conversation only to undo his good work by saying small talk accomplished. Review accomplished."
