"Fantastic restaurant set over several floors, with small cosy rooms off the steep staircase. Large choice at lunchtime from either the lunch or all day menu. The food was all really tasty, would recommended everything we had! That includes Thai red beef curry, Thai green chicken curry, Giggling wings, fried squid and lunchtime 'tapas 'tasters... The staff were all very friendly the service was great. We were hugely impressed with how they handled a sesame allergy one of our party had. From before we booked, when we asked questions about dishes that would be suitable, to on the day itself when they double checked what we ordered. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Thoroughly agree with one of the comments below. The food is really excellent but the experience of eating here is made less enjoyable by being given the starters and the main courses all at once. You then find yourself eating the starter really quickly before the main course gets cold. And the table is uncomfortably crowded with dishes. I also dislike having to use an app to view the menu."

"Had dinner at The Giggling Squid in Stratford-Upon-Avon last night. Booked through the call centre and we were a little concerned that they’d booked us into one in Stratford in London but no, the restaurant confirmed they’d got us in. Starters were good… particularly the dumplings. My pork main course was amazing. Service was very relaxed… no hassle or pushing us to vacate the table. Great place."

"I came here with a friend for lunch on a Sunday. I'd booked a table as I wasn't sure how busy it would be, but as it turned out, it was ok. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out. We sat inside in a lovely room at the front with pretty decoration and a nice vibe. We ordered mocktails. Mine was a fizzy take on a pina colada. It was lovely and refreshing. We ordered two starters to share: salt and pepper squid and pork dumplings. They came quickly and were very tasty. For mains, I had king prawn pad thai, and my friend had lamb shank massaman curry. Both were delicious. The prawns were huge! We had pudding: caramelised mango cake, and black sesame ice cream. We enjoyed all of it and left satisfied and not overly full. It was just the right amount for us. The service was good. I don't like it when a service charge is added to the bill automatically, though. Presumably, we could have had it removed, but who wants to create a faff like that? Anyway, we would have left 10%, so it was fine. I really enjoyed the experience and the food, so I will be back."

"My wife and I have just visited Khon Thai for the first time and we were totally blown away with the superb food we were served. I have been to Thailand several times and can honestly say the food was on par, if not better than a lot I have eaten. Fast and friendly service and very clean eating area. Give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed."

"Our first time order, we were nervous because we do not take a lot of disposable out, so we always hope to get something really satisfying when we splurge. Our walking to was closed, so based on pretty good reviews we chose Thai cuisine for chicken pillows Thai and Tofu death. Although it took a while to drive home (and then the dinner was delayed again as soon as we came home, so the food had a lot of time to steam), it was all SO GOOD. The pad Thai sauce is bright and tangy, chicken and noodles have the perfect chewing. Many delicious peanut topping! Tofu death is still somehow perfect crisp and sauce is surprisingly complex and pleasant tacky., The woman at the counter is a total sweet very conversation-and friendly to my child, who together for breaks. The restaurant itself is super clean and beautifully furnished. We will definitely be back and you should check this little jewel if you don't already have."

"Always bustling with people and they do a lot of takeaways and deliveries so there’s a bit a wait time. I like that they have allowed ordering and paying online so it feels a bit faster. Always come here for the satay!!"
