"Visited the cafe thailand on a Wednesday evening as a group of eight adults. we were quickly shown to a table, and that is where the service ended. After about 15 minutes we asked the waiter if we could order which he had dropped his hand in recognition. he then went on to take the soaking orders from two other dulls who had come after us, we had not taken any soaking order. 5 minutes later he returned with her drinks and continued to take her food orders while we were waiting. it was at that point that we stood up and went. he was not interested in the $300 or so that we had spent eight hungry/thirteen adults. avoid it like the plague if they actually want to be fed!"

"We ate here a few nights ago and couldn't get enough. The serving size is very generous and reasonably priced. The food took us right back to Koh Samui, Thailand. Its authentic thai food cooked the way you like it - spicy or not spicy. We ate coconut prawns to start, thai stir fry with fish and cashews and stir fry with prawns sweet and sour. Could not fault this restaurant at all. great service, exceptional food. If i was staying in cairns longer I'd go right back!"
