"While living in Calgary, this thai express was closed to my office. And I can say that I dropped by here tons of times! Huge portion and spicy pad thai is the best one that they offer I went on a trip to Calgary...again and had lunch with my friend here. She also loved it"

"Every time I want to go to Thai Express, people are like 'what, a chain!'?. Well yes, Thai Express is a restaurant chain but I mean the one at the Suncor Energy Building is really good!They always serve big portions and you can choose the level of spice that you want. Beware as Medium is really spicy for European taste. They introduced Little this year and I find it better. However it really depends on the cook because some cooks tend to be a bit heavy on spices! Even when you chose Little you can end up with something pretty spicy.The good thing about this location is that turnover seems super low. So you always end up dealing with the same cooks. It's not the cheapest place ever for sure, a pad thai is like $9.50 but I mean you get a big portion! cooks are super fast and efficient so it won't take forever to get your meal. And there is a big line ALWAYS."

"Well if you like to pay a high price for small portions of average Canadian Asian branded food, this place is for you. I'm not sure how this location stays open with so many better places to eat in the area. Look elsewhere, you will be happy you did."

"Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with both the service and the food here. We came on a weekend and 1/2 our party ordered brunch which was incredibly disappointing, especially for the price. The other dishes were brought cold and not something any of us would order again. (ordered pancakes and eggs bennies). Forgot our drink orders and although the staff were friendly, they were so slow and inattentive. Will not be returning sadly."

"Nothing to argue with really, delicious and very well priced house Saki, service was quick and friendly and the sushi itself was delicious and a solid value for the price point. The layout of this location hasn't changed much since it was sushi club 10 years ago, so its not as dressed up as some places might be. But if anything it feels like a friendly neighbourhood Sushi place if there is such a thing in Calgary. We had the platter for two which was especially convenient because I prefer sushi and my wife sashimi and this came with even portions of both, plus 2 rolls. We also got Sushi pizza which, if you haven't had it this is the one to try. Its not as weird as it sounds, imagine your favorite parts of japanese food in the shape of the best italian food and you're pretty much there. I am also a recent convert from beer to Saki with my Sushi and their house cold was really delightful and excellently priced. We will be back to try the hot Saki and to do some picking and choosing and trying some of the signature rolls."

"This restaurant is simple in setting but pleasantly complex in food tastes! The server was extremely polite and quick. The food came out fast and was just amazing! Their take on Pad Thai was fantastic in its taste and heat. Will definitely be back!"

"Pleasantly Surprised. We tried this place for the first time recently. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and was reasonably priced. The Tom Yum soup was especially good. We will be ordering more from here for sure!"

"I stopped in for lunch today,I've been coming to this hidden gem since 2008.A friend of mine introduced it to me, and its one of our favorites.Today I tried the Chicken Cantonese Chowmein, it was great. Hubby thinks so too as he ate the left overs for dinner! yum, thank you."

"The Orchid Room has a wonderful mix of good service and very well prepared Asian fusion cuisine. Located on the second floor of Bankers Hall the restaurant has a patio that gives a people watching opportunity. There are reasonable quality wines for a lunch break. We had the Skewer ampler which has a shrimp, chicken and beef skewer in a nice peanut thai sauce. I had the Saigon chicken main dish ... pleasantly spicy. My wife enjoyed the spicy pad thai. The service is attentive and very friendly."
