"Moved to the area recently and very quickly fell in love with the George; it 's a great little historical pub with a lovely selection of beers and ales, a nice atmosphere and attached to a Thai restaurant However, very recently my friends and I came in for a few drinks and some food, and found the food had dropped significantly in quality. This wasn 't a huge issue as we raised this with one of the women at the bar who, upon being told the food didn 't taste seasoned, proceeded to tell us this isn 't a restaurant followed by that 's just how it 's made . The same member of staff is also always very standoffish at the bar, seems to always be miserable and makes ordering very awkward, which is a shame because her colleague seems to be super sweet, welcoming and chatty. I understand a workplace environment can R daunting, but this person seems to have no manners at all and is actively off-putting. My friends and I have since decided to move our regular pub and no loner go to the George."

"I love Thai food and I have been Thailand over 20 times. I tried to find similar atmosphere like Thai and I found this restaurant 15 years ago. I and my family regularly visit this restaurant. Sometimes service is slow and food taste is not always same but you complain about food taste when you visit your family home. I think this restaurant is one of the cheapest Thai restaurants in London. Excellent fried rice and Pad Thai. We also enjoyed their coconut milk soup with noodle. We recommend."

"Tried green Thai Curry with chicken and vegetable spring rolls. The curry could have done with more vegetables and the spring rolls did not have much fillings, mainly just pastry The place smelted a bit damp."

"Great food. We were visiting London for Christmas and stopped in here on Christmas Eve night. It’s the best Chinese food we have had in London. They have the best roast duck fried rice and their chowmein is really good as well. We had the beef and shrimp chowmein."

"Thai im pub. there was a lot of it earlier and it seems that less and less. this is very cheap, very tasty thai food and in a pub so they pay pub prices on their drinks this make the whole thing quite cheap <br br/> my personal favoutire is the pork dumple its starter. can not remember what they are now called (because this is silly when considering how often I had them)<br/> I like the chicken lak, the hawn is a real chicken breast that was grilled before the rich coconut sauce, beautiful large portion that she is fighting over a room for her pint. the staff is friendly and serve them quiet and fast <br br/>the pad thai is very good to"

"The squid tempura was so fresh and had such great flavors. The pad thai here has to be among the best I have sampled in this city. This place has great food, for some good price. The decor is also interesting and well done. The good service adds to the charm of this place."
