"I used to like the half and half plate, which is 4 cabbage rolls and 5 pierogies, but, l no longer eat wheat so that's out for me, there's a nice sampler plate, but, I chose sauerkraut and sausage, the cabbage was more like Bigos, not plain but with meat andthe sausage was extremely good."

"Atmosphere was nice. Small place, service was prompt. In and out in less than an hour which would have been great for a work lunch except the food was not very good. I had the General Tao's Chicken. The chicken seemed to be mostly just batter and everything was covered in so much sweet sticky sauce that it was pretty terrible. It did have a little bit of heat but was overwritten by all the sweet. My co-worker had the Pad Thai and said that the chicken in hers was good but the sauce was not great.I don't know that I would bother going back. If I did it would be to try a different dish."

"First time I’ve tried WOK BOX in Oshawa. The food is tasty, but I found out it’s missing some of the prime ingredients. I ordered chicken with my box meal and found a few pieces of chicken. Once you empty your 4” X 3 1/2” X 4” Box on a plate (if you choose not to eat from the tiny box), you see lots of noodles, bean sprouts, a few veggies and a sauce, … but little of the main ingredient that you ordered! $14.00 for a regular box (which is a small box 4” x 3 1/2” X 4” approx. size) of your choice, … I feel that you just don’t get your money’s worth! And you feel it. I would not return to Wok Box unless they add much more of the ingredients you order. I believe that you can get a lot more of your money’s worth, going elsewhere. So disappointed."

"To be honest with you, I've driven past this probably 1000's of times and never even knew it existed. My brother suggested it to us and I was a little leery because the store front doesn't look like anything special. I can exactly picky eater and decided after reading reviews that it was worth trying out. I am soooooo glad I took the leap of faith. I love that every dish can be customized to likes, dislikes and allergies. With Covid-19 and fookjng every night we needed a change and Family Wok did not disappoint. The prices were reasonable and the amount of food was unexpected. We have enough leftovers for another meal. Everything we tried from egg roll to fortune cookies was delicious. Family Wok will be on our to order list from here on. If you are looking for Chinese give Family Wok a try you will not be disappointed!"

"There is no scrimping on the $6.99 lunch special that comes with numerous selections from the take out menu. There has to be 20+ items to choose from. That's your main - soup - salad - or spring role! You have to walk in to get the special as it is not on the web menu for Oshawa Thai.Everything I have ordered from the past two years is extremely fresh and not an oil laden mess of rice or noodles with your veg or protein selection. I have yet to be disappointed with the food and service before noon is extremely fast.Visit and try something from the daily specials and eat in or take out."
