"This place wants to fill you up with rice. Their sushi pieces have mostly rice and very thin pieces of salmon/sushi. Your orders will not come with the amount you want. I ordered 10 salmon rose but instead got 2. Whatever order you make they will reduce it and give you less. Then, before paying the manager tells us that we ordered too much. But isn't this all you can eat sushi?? Treat your customers with more respect and change your restaurant to pay by the plate if you are going to give people less food and don't want them to order anything. Will never come back here"

"Was so pleased to see a noodle place have gluten free alternatives. It is basically like a fast food place that you order at the counter and sit in and eat, or take out. However, they serve your meal on chinaware instead of plastic or paper. I have eaten pad thai and such dishes in lots of different restaurants, but this place far surpasses the mall food court places both with its super friendly staff, beautiful food presentation and excellent quality and tastiness of the dishes. Very professional looking and tasting meal for a fast food restaurant....definitely a step up. And the food was nice and HOT!!!! Highly recommend it for vegetarian and/or gluten free people. They do have meat and seafood dishes (spaghetti and meatballs, etc.)."

"Ordered take out today for my son’s birthday. Went to pick up food and before I left, I asked if all the items were in one cramped bag to which they said “yes”. Went home and noticed a dish missing. Called the place and they didn’t believe me and asked for a picture. Went back to the store and I asked if I they thought that I’d honestly be untruthful to which they replied that it happens often. Disgusting and incompetent service. Contacted via email as requested by the Owner in his response a few times. No reply whatsoever. As previously stated, disgusting and incompetent!"

"I've been a regular at Dragon Rolls in Pickering, often enjoying their all-you-can-eat dine-in. However, my recent visit for takeout on August 8, 2023, revealed a few areas that could use enhancement.When my son and I walked into the restaurant, it was relatively quiet – a promising sign for a swift takeout experience. We placed an order for Chicken Fried Rice, four orders of Beef Teriyaki Rolls, and two orders of Cheese Wontons. The staff courteously informed us that the wait time would be around 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, our excitement dwindled as we patiently waited for our order, only to receive it after a prolonged 45-minute wait. The extended wait time was a tad disappointing, and a more accurate estimate would have better managed our expectations.One aspect that caught my attention during this visit was the state of the restroom. While the overall restaurant was tidy, the restroom seemed to lack the same attention to detail. I noticed toilet paper scattered on the floor, which indicated a need for more consistent maintenance and cleanliness in this area. Also the flush lever on the toilet was hanging but I was still able to operate it. This should be fixed.When we finally indulged in our meal at home, the flavors were as scrumptious as ever. The Chicken Fried Rice was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, and the Beef Teriyaki Rolls were bursting with savory goodness. The Cheese Wontons were crispy and satisfying. Unfortunately, we were not told of the complementary Spicy Crab Rolls – a dish that clashed with our preferences for both seafood and spice. It would be a great improvement if the staff confirmed such additions with customers before including them, avoiding any food wastage and ensuring a tailored experience. While our order included an unwanted surprise, the overall flavors of the dishes reminded us why we keep coming back. Here's to hoping Dragon Rolls takes these suggestions to heart, providing an even more remarkable dining experience in the future."

"On this visit, I had the Chili Chicken, served with a spring roll and rice. It was a generous serving of chicken, and a decent sized spring roll, but I would have preferred a bit more rice to balance the meal. It tasted pretty good but with nearby Hakka restaurants serving similar dishes for a lower price, it's not such a great deal. I'll be back for my favourite dish here, Thai Spicy Noodles, with chicken or beef."

"Location: In a plaza. Lots of free parking.Décor: It is an attractive space that is fairly large, but visually bisected by the hostess table and bar at the front. Service: Service was not really prompt, eager or that welcoming, but passable. Food: We tried a sample of both Japanese and Thai and found it to be average. It was fairly good taste and presentation. The Japanese sushi was small and plain, but attractive. Quality was average. This place is geared for the all you can eat goop. If you want all you can eat, it is $14.99 for lunch or $21.99 for dinner during the week or $2 more on the weekend.Overall: Its nice to try alternatives. This place is acceptable, but it does not excel in any given area."

"Got the Tofu Curry (Tofu with long beans and sliced eggplant in spicy red curry sauce) and it was one of my favourite thai dishes ever. Portion was so big I had it over 3 days. Just made some extra rice at home. I'll definitely be back again!"
