"Had lunch here with a small group of friends on recommendation from another friend. Overall we had a wonderful experience, the beautiful sun streamed in on us, and the food was fantastic! We were especially impressed with the build your own sandwiches, great value at only $6.50, and a good size, with awesomely flavoursome fillings. The other meals were excellent too, indulgent but not too much, and nicely presented.<br/ <br/ Initially we were a bit shocked to be almost ignored at the counter by the tall blonde waitress, making ordering quite an awkward ordeal, one I would normally turn around and leave because of, however we persisted based on the recommendation. <br/ <br/ It turned out to be very worth our while and I returned for breakfast which, once delivered was also superb. My favourite detail was the jaffas with my coffee."

"There are a massive amount of food choices here but the best thing is that the market is humming. Live music, happy people, busy stall holders etc all make for a cool and buzzy vibe. We came for half an hour and spent two and a half hours here. The market is undercover so the rain didn't matter My food highlight was the vegan fish and chips which were divine."

"Satay tofu and sweet is excellent. the best tofu court I can think of in wellington. the pad thai is also great. have not tried the fish and chips, but they look good."

"Decent cheap eat. Didn't mind their wonton dish, broth was a little on the salty side but OK!<br/ <br/ Also had the roti chanai, roti was a bit sweet for me, but a good dish over all.<br/ Have dined in and had their cha kway teow. This place gets busy around lunch and dinner so if you haven't booked, I'd recommend you go outside these times.<br/ <br/"

"Not bad....little bit disappointed with the food. Chicken overcooked, but fantastic favours in the soup itself. Beers was tasty...nothing on draught tho. Worth checking out. The view of the harbour is outstanding. The photo posted is not quite the same view...but gives you a flavour of what you may be able to see...particularly if you sit near the windows during sunset. Hope that helps."

"Unfortunately this place isn't as flash as it used to be. Upper city prices in suburbia with minimal meat in dishes and mixed veges thrown in some. Good place for a byo night out but at $20+ a main you would expect better food (someone ordered the fish dish at our table and there was only three or so tiny bits in it). Also, on a prior visit I ordered the duck dish and there was hardly any duck in the dish at all."
