"There is nothing much to eat in the area, if you're looking for something healthy. I was lucky to find Carrizal open because there was nothing open to feed my hearty appetite.. The restaurant is clean, the food was good and on display. You won't be disappointed by the food or the potions."

"Went for happy hour got appetizers drinks. Wings coconut shrimp was on point. Music was excellent not too loud it was at an enjoyable volume so u can still have a conversation. Drinks were good. Atmosphere was nice. Service was pretty good, i read theprevious reviews about slow service, we didn't experience that. Drinks came out fast food came out in a reasonable amount oftime."

"Lovely local spot Live music on Fridays Vaccine card required Parking can be tricky Prices are affordable Great place for a date night Indoor and outdoor seating available I don't usually hang out in my neighborhood but I really wanted to try this place and I was not disappointed. It's a tapas bar so the menu is small but tasty. Our favorites were the croquetas and the meat and cheese board (please add olives). The bar is mostly wine inspired but the bartender is willing to make you a cocktail if requested. I tried the lychee and the tamarind sangrias. Both good choices but I wish the lychee had pieces of lychee fruit in it.. which would've elevated it to another level. Service and the music playlist are great. Everyone is sweet and accommodating. Decor is cute I would just add a centerpieces or flowers to the tables to play off the great wall at the entrance with the neon sign. Our server was super sweet he gave us churros on the house to celebrate our anniversary. We definitely want to come back and enjoy live music."

"We went several people to eat as a family, which we regret.I usually don't have a problem with food, anywhere, but I couldn't get more than 3 bites before I put the food aside, I couldn't discover this taste but I was totally disgusted. It was the worst rice I have ever eaten. I tried again regardless, but I just couldn't.My father's dish had chewy meat, impossible to chew at first, then the waiter changed it and it was better but not quite good.My mother's food was tasteless.It was expensive compared to the quality of the food.Good atmosphere and good avocado."

"Not a vegan. The food here was a treat. We ordered too much to be honest (2 plates per person was recommended and we would have been full at 6 between 8. Highlights were the sunchoke toast, the Brussels sprouts, and the scorched cauliflower (has a kick which I found delightful but too much for some of my dining companions). The wines are very reasonably priced for the quality. Service was incredibly warm and knowledgeable. Definitely not just for vegans, a great spot for anyone who wants healthy, hearty, tasty eats in a nice atmosphere."

"Food was... *okay*. But it's the *little* things *lots* of them. No unsweetened iced tea. They bring all the appetizers and the main dishes at the same time. No salt and pepper or ketchup on the table. When you ask for pepper (lobster bisque requires pepper! they eventually bring you some packets. Same with the ketchup for the fries. It's a restaurant, a supposedly halfway nice one. Packets? You ask for a side of corn on the cob without studying the price. They bring you a third of a cob like you'd find in a paella and charge you two bucks. Which is just stupid. I'd pay six for a full one. You ask for butter, they bring you some yellow stuff that is clearly not butter and in no way resembles butter in either flavor or texture. TV on the wall directly facing me is on QVC. Not entertained but now want Temp tations bakeware and serving dishes. Elevator to the H R portion of the restaurant (yep, it's a combo I'm at the K Pot, I'm at the Hook Reel, I'm at the combination K Pot and Hook Reel... is half broken. Maybe this is typical of the chain, but really, someone needs to up their game."
