"DO NOT EAT HERE I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to...eat (especially at such a highly respected franchise). Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. While reading the menu i was rudely asked by the cashier if i'm ready to order several times, by this time i was ready to find another restaurant. I asked for the manager and he said he was the owner of the store. i told him thats no way to treat his customers and he said whatever i decided to order what my son wanted (chicken wrap) and left, once we returned home we saw that the wrap was made very poorly considering the price. The wrap itself was soggy and tasted absolutely appalling, i called and asked for the manager, once again i was speaking to the owner and i request a refund next time i go past. He rudely declined and hung up. I have contacted Nandos head office and they are investigating this issue. It was NOT a nice experience"

"I visited my onkels high time in doyles a few weeks ago and had a really good experience. the ceremony took place outside and was laid back and funny (complete for my onkel.) after the ceremony we moved to the lunchtime in the bistro. We sat in a private room with a large round table that was great. I ordered the cob loaf with garlic butter and the doyles pumpkin risotto. the Cob-Loaf came warm and was delicious. the risotto was also great, but probably a smaller portion size I expected. all the others on the table also seemed satisfied with their meal times, and there were many options on the menu to choose from. the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service could be improved that my cousin had to give the menu for everyone on the table, and the waitress would go away from the table before everyone takes the beverage orders. the meal times are also a little more expensive than I would expect from a bistro. overall but a great experience."

"I feel this 3* rating is a bit generous.I came here for dinner with my partner; we were both keen for a low key feed and we hadn't been to this new place.When we entered, we were told to sit wherever we liked. We assumed fairly that this meant there was table service. After 10 minutes sitting down, I went up and got menus from the bar. Once we'd picked what we wanted, my partner went up to the bar to order. He was rudely told by the bartender to go back to the table because they only do table service and he couldn't take the order - I can see why he's behind the bar and not on tables with those effective customer service skills.Waiters looked flummoxed and out of their depth all night, and it was hardly a busy night for the foreshore.Once we finally got to order food, the table (which was still dirty from the last patrons and never got wiped down - see photo) only got tap water after we asked (which is no hanging offence admittedly but in a place with table service should be a given).We watched two groups of five people each leave before ordering any food or drinks due to the poor service - they both waited over 10 minutes each and still never got served.Another group of five that came in well after us were fed before us. We waited over 50 minutes for two simple dishes. My partner asked how long it would take after about 35 minutes. We were told 5 minutes longer. It still took another 15 minutes after that (and enquiring two more times) before we got the meals.The meals themselves were actually delicious - the chicken paella tasted good and we also got the lamb ribs which were amazing too.The manager told us that last night was his first night and he was still getting a hang of the place. Being an ex restaurant manager I appreciate how hard it was.The chef made us a Creme Catalan as an apology for the service. It's a Spanish version of a Creme brûlée.I was pretty disappointed overall by the service. I really hope the manager can run the front of house effectively and train the young staff there because the place has lots of potential to challenge the otherwise bland scene on the Kingston Foreshore.I won't be rushing back but if I hear it improves in coming months I may consider giving it a second chance."

"Absolutely appalling experience ordering via the Nando 's app. Our driver has apparently been waiting 45mins to pick up our order but the driver doesn 't answer their phone and there is no way to contact the restaurant. The customer service number had no-one available to take our call so had to leave a message. We still have no idea if the restaurant even has our order. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40"

"After lunch on Thursday 23/6 this was our experience: we were provided an artsy fartsy menu (from the Bays website with a current dialy promotion until 30/6 completely deviate. Nevertheless we have chosen to laugh from the small plate menu and pumpkion...gnocchi while they were both nice, the small plate was an underfloor! there were 4 small salmon spreaders, probably enough to load a piece toast when they were inclined. the gnocchi had 5 small pieces food approx. the size of a 50c piece. the menu price for both was about $40. So if you want a meal and expect a little more indicat for a pub, you need to order the chicken nuggets and chips or parma (small from the child menu. they will not be able to get their fill here without having an exorbitant bill. I would like to thank the manager for her radiance, although wrong on her advertising. we decided to leave a $25 tip in the cash after we were told there would be no fee. bt2 work there were no table linen (fine meals). it was loud and cold, because the heatings were not very unpleasant. please change your menu back to the way and wise as it was in the february when our whle family enjoyed our visit!"
