"I had moules frites, and it wasn't hot. Maybe they poured cold sauce over the mussels, or they had been pre cooked I don't know. The frites were ok, but had much better. The nicest thing was the free bread, which was good quality and...fresh.... Almost everyone eating (admittedly before main French eating time) was a UK tourist. Very disappointing."

"Interestingly, the sign above the cafë says Le Petit Moka. It is next to Nîmes Cathedral in a cobblestoned square. I only had tea but it was sensational. They have a big selection and serve it properly with Chinese cast iron teapot and proper tea...cup and saucer! Sorry, I am a tea snob!!!!"

"Veritably, this was one of the best fish meals I have eaten. I had the filet de poisson core au four, which is comprised of a delicious, flaky whitefish baked together with carrots, potatoes, and onions in a round, casserole-style dish. And then the fromage-caramiel and a cognac for dessert. It was lovely. Madame was a most gracious and generous host, and the (albeit, at the time, few) patrons in the restaurant were a pleasure to talk to. I hope this restaurant thrives as it is obvious that the couple works very hard at making its customers, locals and tourists alike, happy. The restaurant is a bit removed from most of the quarter's retail "action" but is fairly close to the Maison Carree toward the northern perimeter, south of the Square de la Bouquerie."

"Very good restaurant with Spanish influences. The turtle nest or the palourdes cassolette in the entries were delicious. The paella with seiche and the aïoli ink was simply addictive. Very good address."

"Blink and you might miss this small family run restaurant that just does lunch. Everything is cooked in house from fresh ingredients. The duck was melt in the mouth, the burger and frites excellent and desert, the chocolate cake, superb. Do not miss it. Highly...recommended."
